Chapter 247: Her Disbelief

“But in anycase, I didn’t know anything about the queen mother thinking that way.”

More than other truths, she was more surprised by the fact that the queen mother had pressured him to do that. In the past, she had never shown any kind of interest between Igor and Rihannan as far as Rihannan knew. It was why she had always thought until now that the plans that Leticia made were only between her and her father, but that actually wasn’t the case.

Igor quietly shook his head side to side.

“Whatever the case, the fault completely lies within me. I have no room to make any kind of excuse.”

But there was something she still couldn’t understand. If the relationship Igor had with Leticia was nothing but theatrics, why did he leave her completely after they had fallen down the stairs?

“Why did you decide not to see me after I had lost my child? I still wanted to meet you even after that incident and sent the maid several times to ask you to meet with me, but was rejected every time.”

Igor, who was gazing at Rihannan’s face, slowly lifted his hand and pointed at one area of his head.

Igor stared at Rihannan’s blue eyes shivering with wrath while staying still. His purple eyes soon lowered downwards sadly. The insides of his eyes was completely filled with sense of guilt. Rihannan couldn’t understand why he’s showing such expression when he just said that it wasn’t him that had put her in jail.

At that moment, Rihannan suddenly realized it. The person who had so much political power that it was equivalent to how much the king had at that time.
