Chapter 286: Bathe Together

Hearing her question, he smiled.

“I’ve told them downstairs to bring bathwater to us right away after we finished our meal. You must be tired from riding a carriage all day long and wandering around the port after all. I’m sure you’ll be able to sleep nicely once you have a bath.”

Rihannan nodded her head. Just as he said, once she bathes in warm bathwater, more of her fatigue would melt away.

“Thank you for being considerate, Igor.”

“Well, I’m not so sure if I’m actually being considerate…”

He gave a curious reply as he smiled.

“What do you mean by that?”

“I just remembered what I had said to you in the past.”

“And what was that?”

“It’s what I said to you before the Kirit competition began.”

Rihannan tried her best to remember what Igor had said to her before the Kirit competition had begun, but she couldn’t think of anything particular in her mind. All that time, Rihannan noticed a curious expression on Igor’s face. Actually, he had been smiling to himself the whole time for a while now.

For some reason, she felt uneasy.

“Why…”

She was about to ask why he was smiling this whole time, but then a bathtub was brought into the room. Following it, a number of buckets filled with hot water were brought in one by one as well. The hot water buckets were then dumped into the bathtub, which soon filled the room with steam and warm air. After the preparations were done and the employees left, Igor spoke.

“Now then, go ahead inside and wash yourself.”

Igor spread his hand open and gestured to the bathroom. Rihannan stepped into the bathroom with a slightly confused feeling in her mind. It seemed like he was planning something, but perhaps she was wrong.

In any case, she was finally able to have a bath, which she was looking forward to more than anything else in the world. Rihannan took her clothes off, tied her hair up, and then immersed her body into the hot water. The fatigue that built upon her melted away right away. Even though she should be quickly washing herself up, she felt so relaxed that it was hard to even lift a finger up. Just as she was about to close her eyes and fall into a light sleep, the sound of the door clicking open was heard.

Rihannan’s eyes opened wide immediately. She thought she may have heard wrong, but it wasn’t. The person who opened the door to the bathroom and was coming in was definitely Igor.

“Eeek!”

Rihannan hurriedly covered her chest with her two arms and curled up her body. She wanted to say something, but couldn’t find words to say as she was so surprised. As Rihannan’s lips kept opening and closing like a fish, Igor unb*ttoned his cufflinks in the meantime. Seeing him starting to then unb*tton his shirt as well, Rihannan hurriedly yelled.

“What are you doing?!”

“I wanted to take a bath as well.”

He replied to her with way too much confidence and no hesitancy in his voice. Rihannan couldn’t find any words to say for a moment due to the shock.

“W-Why would we bathe toget…”

“I’ve told you before the Kirit competition had begun, didn’t I? That once we get to the villa, I had things I wanted to do together with you.”

Only then did Rihannan remember what Igor had said to her before they headed to the hunting grounds where the Kirit competition was going to be held.

“How about we blast through all the homework we put on delay on that day?”
