CH 3

Name:I Eat My Own Jealousy Author:
He was startled and sat up abruptly from the bed with a loud thud. The room's light turned on, revealing a tall and sturdy man in uniform standing by the bedside. It was Weiss, whose name Jian Ning had just heard from his stepmother earlier tonight.

The sudden brightness made Weiss squint his eyes. Adjusting to the light, he looked at Jian Ning with regret and asked, "Ning, why are you unwilling to come to my side?"

Jian Ning tensed up, observing him closely. This house had an alarm system, and any intrusion would trigger an alarm. How did he enter silently?

"Mr. Weiss, it's already late. If there's something, let's talk about it tomorrow. Please leave," Jian Ning scanned the room, not finding any signs of forced entry. He gripped the bedsheet tightly, trying to remain calm.

Weiss gazed at him, his eyes lingering on the loose collar of Jian Ning's pajamas. His brown eyes darkened, and he licked his lips before taking two steps forward.

Jian Ning hurriedly retreated to the head of the bed. His gaze swept over the baseball bat in the corner of the room and he reached under the pillow, pulling out a communicator. He exclaimed angrily, "Mr. Weiss, what do you intend to do? If you don't leave, I will call the police!"

Weiss chuckled and took a black rectangular metal box out of his pocket. He placed it on the wall and pressed the button in the middle. With a "beep," a light on the metal box illuminated.

Jian Ning's heart suddenly chilled. This metal box was a shielding device that could isolate and block all sounds and signals within the entire house. In other words, no matter what happened inside the house, people outside would neither hear nor see anything.

"Ning, my patience has reached its limit. Since you refuse, don't blame me for using force," Weiss unbuttoned his uniform while wearing an evil grin, approaching Jian Ning. No female he desired had ever escaped from his grasp, and he wouldn't tolerate anyone daring to reject him.

"Roar!" Tuan Tuan stood in front of Jian Ning, arching his back, and his fur bristled. He lunged towards Weiss, biting down on his arm.

"Hiss, you little beast!" Weiss didn't consider this small creature as a threat. He swung his arm, attempting to throw Tuan Tuan aside. However, he underestimated Tuan Tuan. Not only did he fail to shake him off, but he also felt intense pain in his arm as blood started to flow. Tuan Tuan bit tightly, showing no sign of letting go unless a piece of flesh was torn off.

"Damn it!" Weiss gritted his teeth, violently grabbing Tuan Tuan's neck with his other hand, trying to pull him down and throw him to the ground.

Seizing the moment when Tuan Tuan hindered Weiss, Jian Ning leaped from the bed, grabbing the baseball bat from the corner. With force, he swung it towards Weiss's head.

"Tuan Tuan!" he called out, and Tuan Tuan immediately released Weiss's arm, jumping into Jian Ning's arms. With a successful strike, Jian Ning held Tuan Tuan tightly and turned around, rushing towards the room's door.

Weiss touched his head and found it covered in blood. His face instantly turned ferocious, and he roared angrily, chasing Jian Ning with large strides.

Jian Ning had just reached the doorway when Weiss caught up to him. Grabbing his collar, Weiss forcefully threw him, causing him to crash into the adjacent room.

"Ning, stop struggling. Tonight, you won't be able to escape," Weiss blocked the room's entrance, his resentful gaze falling on Tuan Tuan, who was growling at him, protecting Jian Ning. How could a mutt like this dare to bite him? The thought of what this mutt's father did to him made his gaze even colder and more resentful. He would make sure to smash that man's reproductive organs!

Jian Ning endured the pain as he got up from the ground. The baseball bat had slipped from his hand and was outside the room. This was his vegetable cultivation room, and apart from a few pots of vegetables, there were no useful weapons. He picked up Tuan Tuan and ran toward the window.

Weiss effortlessly stepped into the room. His shielding device was not an ordinary one found on the market but a newly developed one by the military. It not only prevented signals and sounds from going out but also restricted people from going out. Seeing the pots of vegetables in the room, Weiss paused, his expression slightly changing. "Ning, did you grow these?"

He remembered that this young man had only a D-level psychic power. How could he possibly grow vegetables? Moreover, looking at the vigorous growth of these vegetables, this young man's psychic power seemed higher than his wife, who had a C-level psychic power.

His gaze became more eager and excited. Mating with females who had higher psychic powers not only pacified the restlessness of the male animal soul but also elevated the male's psychic power, leading to offspring with even higher psychic powers. Although the Empire had long abolished mandatory marriages, the aristocrats on the Imperial Star still sought to mate with females with high psychic powers.

His psychic power was B-level, but those B-level or higher cultivators looked down on him and refused to marry him. However, this young man in front of him likely had a B-level psychic power.

Weiss eagerly approached Jian Ning, wanting to bind him to his side until he bore him a child.

Jian Ning reached the window but found an invisible film outside, enveloping the entire house. No matter how much force he exerted, he couldn't break through it. Suddenly, a powerful force from behind caused him to be twisted around, and the back of his head slammed heavily against the window. Tuan Tuan was snatched from his arms.

"Ning, let go of this child. We'll conceive another one," Weiss said, holding Tuan Tuan by the nape of his neck and throwing him forcefully to the ground.

"Tuan Tuan!" Jian Ning wanted to pounce towards Tuan Tuan but was tightly restrained by Weiss's large palm, pressing him down onto the ground. Weiss pinned him down, swiftly unbuckling his belt and tugging at Jian Ning's sleepwear. His eyes were filled with madness, his breath rapid.

Tuan Tuan was thrown to the ground, rolling into a corner, and let out a soft whimper before lying motionless. Jian Ning's heart shattered with pain. He struggled with all his might, his arm swinging to the nearby empty flowerpot. The red fruit seeds he had just planted before falling asleep rolled out with the soil.

His gaze fell on the red fruit seeds, and he suddenly reached out, clutching them tightly in his hand, closing his eyes. He concentrated all his psychic power into the palm holding the red fruit seeds.

The person beneath Weiss went from struggling one moment to becoming quiet the next. Weiss looked at the beautiful young man beneath him, whose eyelashes trembled slightly with his closed eyes. He unbuttoned the last button of his sleepwear, his gaze roaming over the exposed fair skin, his eyes dark, his voice breathless and hoarse as he said, "Such a good man. I will take good care of you."

Weiss's palm was about to touch the young man's chest when suddenly, his eyes widened. A sapling quickly sprouted from the young man's right hand, rapidly growing and branching out. In a moment, it grew into a half-sized tree.

Weiss had never seen such a scene and was completely stunned, unable to react. It wasn't until the branches of the small tree suddenly swung towards him, entwining around his neck and pulling him to the ground.

With the pressure lifted from his body, Jian Ning opened his eyes and climbed up from the ground, his palm still firmly pressed against the trunk of the small tree. Sweat dripped from his forehead, his face flushed, large droplets of sweat sliding down, but he dared not wipe them. His eyes were fixed on Weiss, who was trying to break free from the tree branches. Jian Ning commanded a few branches with his psychic power, wrapping them around Weiss's limbs.

Weiss was unable to move, the branches tightly entwined, and his neck was constricted, making it difficult for him to breathe. Roaring with all his might, his body rapidly expanded, growing black fur. His clothes tore apart, and soon the figure on the ground transformed into a large black bear.

The black bear struggled forcefully, breaking free from the entangled branches on its limbs. It swung its bear paw to tear off the branches from its neck, flipped over from the ground, and crawled towards Jian Ning with anger.

Jian Ning gritted his teeth, both hands firmly against the tree trunk, focusing his psychic power even deeper into the palm of his hand. The red fruit tree swiftly grew taller, branching out, and its roots extended and thickened. At the same time, it swung towards the black bear, once again entwining its limbs and neck.

The black bear roared and struggled, but as soon as the branches were broken, new ones quickly entangled it again. The black bear's strength was quickly depleting, and its struggles weakened. Jian Ning was drenched in sweat, his head throbbing with intense pain, but he dared not slacken his psychic power even for a moment. He commanded the branches entwined around the black bear to tighten.

The black bear could no longer move, and suddenly, its fur quickly disappeared, and its massive form shrank, reverting back to a half-sized human form. The branches that had tightly entangled the black bear fell loose, and Weiss rose from the ground, full of fury and ferocity, ready to pounce on Jian Ning. However, a white figure suddenly leaped onto Weiss from the side, fiercely biting his neck.

A tremendous pressure descended, overwhelming Weiss. His legs went weak, and with a "thud," he knelt to the ground. Jian Ning quickly reacted, using the branches to bind Weiss's limbs once again.

Weiss was tightly bound and unable to move, lying on the ground. Blood quickly flowed from his neck, and he stared wide-eyed, struggling to see the figure that had bitten his neck.

Realizing that he was on the verge of death, the fangs around his neck suddenly loosened, and a white wolf cub jumped off his shoulder.

Finally, he saw it. Weiss looked at the white wolf cub in astonishment, using his last bit of strength to turn his head and glance at the scruffy dog that had been thrown into the corner earlier.

It was gone.

Weiss couldn't believe it. His breath became rapid, his pupils dilated, and his heavy gasps were stuck in his torn throat. His head tilted, and he breathed his last breath.
