Chapter 4 – Filming a Movie

──A few days after the terrorist attack.

In fact, my study abroad program was supposed to start the day after the welcome party, but because of the terrorist attack on the royal family, the school I was supposed to attend was closed for the time being.

What’s more, as someone who was there, I was also questioned about the situation.

The reason was that I had subdued a large number of terrorists by myself.

After all, a mere student had fought the terrorists armed with guns and rescued the many hostages who were there. If you think about it normally, it would be unbelievable.

But the fact that the people at the party testified and that Joshua-sama was saved by me caused quite a stir.

Fortunately, the scene in which I destroyed the weapon by swinging the Heavenly Whip was not seen by the public because I was strengthening my body with all my might.

However, it was impossible for all the guns to be destroyed in one instant, so they still suspected that I had done something.

The only evidence left was that I overpowered the terrorists with my bare hands.

Well, that was not really possible either.

Anyway, I didn’t regret using my powers in that situation.

As a result, Kaori and everyone else were safe.

The only problem now was getting through the various investigations from different sides...

And so, even though I was supposed to have a day off, I led a very hectic life.

So, I didn’t even have time to accompany Saara-san and explore the city.

In the midst of all this, for some reason, I found myself wearing a suit again.

“W-why is it...?”

“Ahaha... there’s nothing I can do about it. Yuuya-san saved everyone.”

Kaori said with a wry smile.

Yes, for some reason, I had been summoned to the palace where Joshua-sama and the others lived.

Apparently, the royal family wanted to thank me for what I had done.

“There is no need to go to such lengths... I would be happy if everyone was safe...”

“That’s not going to happen. There’s a certain image to be maintained as a country.”

I know Kaori was right, but as a commoner, this was too much for me!

I’ve had similar experiences in the other world, but even then, I never got used to it.

In fact, I couldn’t believe that I was in a situation where I was being received by the king on this very planet, not in the other world.

However, since it had already been decided, there was nothing I could do but try to be careful not to make any mistakes.

After waiting a while at the entrance to the palace, it was finally time for my audience with the king.

I entered the audience chamber as I was called and made my way to the king and his family. For the time being, I tried to behave as I had in the other world.

But...

“There’s no need to be so formal.”

“Eh? B-but...”

“You saved my son’s life, didn’t you? And I called you here this time to show my gratitude. Please relax.”

“U-understood.”

Even though he said that, I really couldn’t let my guard down.

I looked at the king in front of me again while feeling nervous.

His Majesty the King was like Joshua-sama, and he was full of dignity.

His atmosphere might be similar to Tsukasa-san’s.

Joshua-sama was standing next to the king, but strangely, I didn’t feel the hostility towards me that I had felt before.

As I watched the two of them, the king spoke.

“Once again, thanks to you, Joshua was able to get out safely. Thank you very much.”

Let’s go back in time to Japan...

“This is Yuuya-san’s house.”

“This is...”

The young man from the future world was led to Yuuya’s house by Merl.

The young man looked at the house with deep emotion, but then, as if he had made up his mind, he rang the doorbell.

And then...

“Visitor. Who?”

Yuti appeared from inside the house.

Yuti looked at the young man, and her eyes widened.

“Question. It’s not Yuuya... but it looks like him. What exactly is it...”

“Hello, Yuti-san. Is Yuuya-san still here?”

Merl called to the confused Yuti.

Then Yuti came to her senses.

“Departure. Yuuya just left to study abroad or something. He’s not here anymore.”

“N-no way...”

The young man slumped his shoulders when he learned that Yuuya had already left.

Yuti tilted her head even more when she saw the young man.

“Question. Who is this person? Is he Yuuya’s... relative?”

“Well... I don’t really know either...”

Merl didn’t know who the young man was either, so she tilted her head in the same way.

Then, from inside the house, an excited voice could be heard.

“Yuti! What happened?”

“Visitor. A visitor came for Yuuya.”

“Eh, a visitor?”

“That’s a problem... Yu-Yuuya isn’t here right now...”

Then Lexia and Luna appeared from inside the house.

While listening to Yuti’s story, they turned their attention to the young man who had come to visit, and their eyes widened.

“Eh? Yuuya-sama?”

“There are some similarities in his appearance and face, but his hairstyle is completely different, isn’t it?”

“Oh, you’re right! But I was surprised because they look so much alike!”

The young man was surprised to see the two of them continuing the conversation he had heard so many times before.

“A-amazing... I’ve only seen it in documents, but it’s my great-great-grandfather’s queen...”

The young man was taken aback but quickly regained his senses and bowed energetically.

“I apologize for the suddenness of this. Please excuse me!”

“Eh? Ah, wait!”

And then he left in a hurry.

The suddenness of the event left Lexia and the others speechless, and Luna called out to Merl.

“What on earth was that all about...?”

“...I-I don’t know either. But he seemed to be looking for Yuuya-san, so I brought him here...”

“Unfortunately, Yuuya has already left for his study abroad program.”

“That’s true. But he seemed to be in some kind of trouble... I hope he’s okay...”

Despite Merl’s concern, the young man had already disappeared.
