While Yuuya was fighting the gods.

At the Ousei Academy...

“I’m so bored...”

Ryo mumbled something like that, looking bored.

Shingo looked at him strangely.

“I-is that so?”

“That’s right! It’s like it’s not enough, or something like that...”

“Could it be that you are looking for me, the ‘Prince of the Academy’?”

Akira appeared out of nowhere.

“No, you’re especially...”

“That’s terrible!”

“T-That’s right. You’re the same as always, Akira...”

“Even you, Shingo-kun?”

Akira crumpled to the ground as he received similar reactions from both Ryo and Shingo.

As the three of them continued to exchange such pointless comments, Rin and Kaede came over.

“What’s wrong with you three?”

“Hmm? Oh no, I just thought it’s been kind of boring lately.”

“Really? Well, now that you mention it...”

Kaede’s face showed a moment of surprise, then she looked convinced.

Then Rin grinned.

“That’s probably because Yuuya isn’t here, isn’t it?”

“Eh?!”

“Yeah, that’s probably it.”

Kaede’s face turned red at Rin’s words, but Ryo nodded as if to say that was it.

“Just like Rin said, it doesn’t feel right without Yuuya!”

“Speaking of which, Yuuya-kun will be back soon, right?”

“Huh... I wonder how much he’s grown up overseas... As a rival, I’m really looking forward to it!”

“Well, you haven’t grown up at all.”

“Guhahh!”

Akira collapsed, clutching his chest in response to Rin’s retort.

“By the way, I wonder if Yuuya is feeling down over there?”

“But I wonder if he speaks English?”

Kaede’s eyes brightened at Ryo’s innocent question.

“I wonder? But it seems like he can speak it!”

“That’s true... I wouldn’t be surprised if Yuuya could speak English fluently. I wonder if he’s popular over there, too?”

“Haha, I’m just kidding! Besides, Kaori is accompanying him on the study trip abroad, so it’ll be fine.”

“That’s true! I bet they’re doing lots of things over there and having a great time, right?”

Ryo said with an excited look on his face, and Rin suddenly remembered something and took out her smartphone.

“Oh, that reminds me, a while ago there was a video on social media that was trending overseas... isn’t that Yuuya?”

“Eh?”

Rin and the others looked at the smartphone she held out.

There, they saw a video of Yuuya saving Olivia in a brilliant way.

“H-hey, is that...

“I-isn’t she that world famous actress, Olivia-san...?”

“How did that happen?!”

Akira couldn’t help but point out, and Rin burst out laughing.

The eyes of Kaede and the others lit up at Ryo’s suggestion.

As Kaede, Rin, and Shingo each expressed their agreement, Akira’s facehad an apologetic expression.

“I’m sorry, but I have a part-time job that day...”

“But don’t worry about me, and have fun!”

Akira said and then suddenly looked at his watch.

“Oops, if I keep talking like this, it’ll be time for my part-time job today! Sorry, but from now on, I’m the ‘part-time job prince’! I’ll go first!”

With that, he quickly got ready to go home and left.

While watching him go, Ryo spoke up.

“Come to think of it, we can’t hang out with him all the time.”

“N-now that you mention it, that’s true.”

“Not only at Christmas, but he works after that too...”

“What’s the matter? Does he have no money?”

“Come to think of it, we don’t really know Akira that well, do we?”

Shingo and the others fell silent at Ryo’s words.

It seems that she took good care of everyone while I was gone.

I’m sorry I left so much to her, but Meiko says she enjoys taking care of everyone.

“But what about Saara-san and Don?”

I ask, smiling wryly at Yuti’s words, and Luna answers with a wry look on her face.

“They are fine. They just looked tired, so they’re sleeping now. But still, a new family member is a divine beast... what’s going on in this house?”
