Chapter 467 Rhizen’s True Identity "Well, it was just a tiny sum. But anyway, you get the idea." Rhizen spoke.
"But, that doesn't change anything." Grisha retorted, "It's pretty much impossible to protect our world. The only option we have is to push the Coincidental Luck System to Grade 2 and become its Hosts."
"The Coincidental Luck System?" Rhizen laughed all of a sudden, saying, "So, you don't know the truth about it yet."
"I'm the one piloting it for most of the time." Rhizen pointed at himself.
"What?" Compass Carburettor uttered in shock, "What do you mean by piloting it?"
"Are you delusional, Rhizen?" Grisha asked, "Or maybe it has already influenced your memories too much to turn you this foolish?"
"No, it didn't." Rhizen sighed, feeling a mild headache as he looked around, "Let me explain in a few minutes. I need to give a proper funeral for Chenger and Sir Warktor."
"Do you mind if I take care of it?" Compass Carburettor asked, "It might not be pretty, but it will definitely erase all traces of their existence."
"Fine by me." Rhizen nodded, not affected in the least as he planted a Blood Vitality Grass in Chenger, sucking up her entirety into it.
Grisha then teleported the both of them to the place where Warktor was killed as Compass Carburettor did the same here too, causing all traces of Warktor to vanish.
He then healed Xuer, Ranze, and Bunuela of their injuries, sighing in relief to see that they were all alive.
"Let's talk inside," Rhizen said, pointing towards a nearby cave as he, Grisha, and Compass Carburettor entered inside, taking a seat on suitable boulders within.
"This started before the first loop." Rhizen began to speak after some time, "At that time, the first Main Character came into existence. None of the Systems was prepared for his arrival. The Main Character reached level 90; he annihilated dozens of Grade 2 Systems, and even a Grade 3 System before he was finally destroyed."
"At that time, the Systems had yet to attain their current hegemony. The peak entities of various worlds continued to fiercely resist them. And their plan to successfully create the Main Character was a success." Rhizen said, "To counter such cases in the future, the three Grade 4 Systems namely, Regression, Reincarnation, and Transmigration joined hands to create a contingency measure."
"Among them, my world was chosen because there was a considerable level of talent suitable for a variety of Systems." Rhizen said, "But, when the Regression System began to modify our world, it chanced upon an even better world. And hence, it dropped our world, selling it in the Astral Network."
"But, here's where something interesting happened." Rhizen grinned, "The process to completely change the laws of my world and make it loop perfectly without interfering with the timelines needed a lot of time to execute. And hence, my world was in a state of stasis for who knows how long."
"And during that time…" Rhizen pointed at himself, "The Coincidental Luck System was born through me."
"It was born through you?" Compass Carburettor said in shock.
"Yep," Rhizen nodded, "I was born with the innate ability to harness the power of Luck. And using me as the catalyst, the System World created the Coincidental Luck System. After that, the Luck genre became a thing as more and more derivatives regarding Luck were absorbed by the System World to birth more Systems of this genre."
"But one thing doesn't change." He grinned, "And it was the fact that I alone was enough to birth the Coincidental Luck System. So, even it isn't aware that it was drawn towards this world because of me."
"And," Rhizen said, "By the second loop, I already understood this and began to slowly manipulate it."
"How did you achieve that? Considering how many years you've been its Host, the Coincidental Luck System should have grown to a sizeable extent in your mind." Compass Carburettor frowned, still unable to believe everything Rhizen said.
There could still be a chance that everything he said was fed to him by the Coincidental Luck System to manipulate it better.
"Every time it devoured me in the System World, it absorbed everything I gained in that loop." Rhizen spoke slowly, "And every single time, I manipulated its luck, slowly infiltrating its body. As for the part of its body living in my mind, that had long since fallen under my control."
"You don't believe me?" Rhizen noticed Compass Carburettor's and Grisha's reactions, chuckling, "I guess it's the norm. What I spoke was indeed that absurd. But,"
He extended his hand towards Compass Carburettor, clenching it into a fist before opening it.
"Guh!" Suddenly, Compass Carburettor grunted like he had suffered from a heart attack, kneeling on the ground, sweating profusely. He slowly lifted his head, noticing a tiny spark pulsating on Rhizen's palm, bubbling from time to time before shrinking like a mass of iron filings attracted to a magnet.
"This is your innate Luck, a Main Character's Luck." Rhizen said, flicking his hand to send the pulsing spark into Compass Carburettor's, "Since you're able to gauge your luck levels, you must understand what I did, right?"
"So, you can manipulate the luck of everything." Compass Carburettor muttered, recovering to normal as he got up.
"Yep," Rhizen nodded, "But it took time to slowly grasp my power. After all, before I became the Coincidental Luck System's Host, I only harnessed my Luck passively. Only through it did I gradually understand the ins and outs of luck."
"And, every single time, I manipulated its mind, storing my memories there when it devoured me in the System World." Rhizen said, "I sealed the memories using its own luck and masked it, preventing it from detecting it."
"And this time, I just inserted in its mind one of its past memories of devouring me." He spoke, "So, it didn't actually devour me this time, but instead was influenced by the implanted memories and opened a portal to the Gaider Realm instead."
"Does that mean you're able to fully control the Coincidental Luck System?" Compass Carburettor asked.
"Not anymore." Rhizen said, "I extracted all of my power from it and arrived here. As it immediately entered Straxia and arrived in this cultivation world under the Restriction Order, it hasn't noticed its drop in power yet."
"Then, what's your plan?" Compass Carburettor asked.
"I…" Rhizen took in a deep breath before speaking, "Once I kill all the Luck based Systems, there wouldn't be any entity strong enough to match me in terms of Luck. And, before the Luck based systems revive, I'll steal all their powers."
