Chapter 502 Fusing Powers of Two Worlds

The figure of Rhizen slowly turned transparent before becoming a ray of Mental Energy that swam through the Origin Art of Mind Connect, arriving in Compass Carburettor's mind space.

Rhizen's second fusion material was the Mental Energy sphere he obtained from Compass Carburettor. And at the Martial Providence Stage, it allowed him to take on a Mental Energy form and travel into the mind of others through the Mental Energy streams they emit.

This was only possible if the Mental Energy stream was directed at him though. He could not enter the streams directed at others. Since he already told Compass Carburettor about his ability, all necessary arrangements had been done beforehand.

The moment Rhizen's body arrived in the mind space, his body and mind fused into one as Rhizen began to absorb the Restriction Order, using it as his third fusion material.

Compass Carburettor watched with bated breath as the Restriction Order was actually fusing with Rhizen.

"Geh!" Rhizen grunted in response as his body showed signs of cracking thanks to the enormous power contained within the fusion material. Unlike the other fusion materials, the Restriction Order was active.

And, to keep the Systems oblivious to everything, he had to fuse with it in such a way that the process was slow enough for him to maintain the Restriction Order. Basically, as it became his power, he had to wield it and ensure the status quo of the Cultivation World doesn't change.

So, it was a tricky process.

Thankfully, Rhizen had lived for more than a millennium and had been through the painful extraction process of the Coincidental Luck System over and over again for 48 times. So, he was able to work through the fusion process, ensuring there wouldn't even be a fluctuation in the Restriction Order cast over the Cultivation World.

It didn't take much time though as Rhizen soon completed the fusion process, grunting in pain as he collapsed to the ground, panting in response, exhausted, "I…succeeded."

"Congratulations!" Compass Carburettor smiled in response, happy that they had succeeded. Now, the Restriction Order was under their control.

When Rhizen returns to the Apocalypse World, he would take the Restriction Order with him. But at the same time, the Cultivation World would still be protected by the Restriction Order.

This was because his Martial Spirit was the Human Divine Martial Spirit, one of the four foundations of the Cultivation World. And through it, he was able to share the power with the other Divine Martial Spirits.

This was the deal he had with the Divine Martial Spirits. It was a win-win situation for both sides in that they would be protected against the Systems. Moreover, they would work with Rhizen through his Post-Apocalyptic Dispatch Society in the future to retaliate against the Systems.

As for Compass Carburettor, he was benefiting from the entire transaction the most. After all, he was gaining allies in his endeavour.

Even though he hadn't met with Stencil, he was long aware that not only had she recovered but had also gained tremendous power. Therefore, his goals had already been achieved.

His daughter was safe.

This was his only wish. And now that it had been fulfilled, he only had to focus on avoiding detection by the Systems.

And when necessary, he could return to seek refuge in the Apocalypse World that would slowly be turned into a fortress to face the Systems. Even Grade 2 Systems cannot breach the Restriction Order.

And now that it had become Rhizen's power, as he grows stronger in the future, it too would become more potent.

After all, Rhizen's true goal was to combine the power system of both the Apocalypse and Cultivation World to create a power strong enough to kill Systems.

And for this, he had been planning extensively. Upon knowing about the power system of the Cultivation World, Rhizen felt that it was time for him to take action. And hence, he manipulated the Coincidental Luck System.

His first fusion material was the core of the Apocalypse World. It was the Coincidental Luck System's proof of ownership of the world, an item that allowed it to control the Apocalypse World. And it was through it that it harvested a lot of Mental Energy.

And of course, it couldn't just eat up that energy, for that would only hinder its growth. This was where Rhizen came into play, acting as the filter that processed the Mental Energy into a format beneficial for its growth, the reason it grew to become the strongest among the Luck based Systems in a short time.

This was just like how Compass Carburettor harnessed the Mental Energy of the Temperate Refinement Zone through Dullin's corpse.

Its ownership of this core was also why none of the Luck based Systems dared to enter the Apocalypse World. If they did, then by paying a price, it would be able to exercise its control over the world, trapping them before devouring them.

The cost was just ginormous, and hence the Coincidental Luck System never used it against the Hatchling Systems which were pretty worthless in its eyes.

This was also what led to it searching for System Slayers to take care of the Hatchling Systems.

After fusing with the Apocalypse World's core, Rhizen gained the same power. And through it, he began to work in fusing the power systems of both the worlds and terraforming his Apocalypse World's power system accordingly.

Even though the Apocalypse World's power system had limitless potential, it was weak. After all, they had to consume pearls to unleash their abilities, irrespective of their Stage of cultivation.

Moreover, they couldn't unleash their abilities in succession because of the need to consume the pearls for energy.

As for Compass Carburettor, thanks to his Dimensional Space, he could supplement the energy needed with Mental Energy, hence overcoming the restriction of the power system.

And, Rhizen's goal was the same.

The Apocalypse World's Core, the Cultivation World's core—the Human Divine Martial Spirit; he possessed both now.

Rhizen's second fusion material allowed him to harness and use Mental Energy. And his third fusion material, the Restriction Order allowed him to actually kill the Systems.

"I'll be focusing on this, Compass." Rhizen said, exiting Compass Carburettor's mind space, "I'll leave the rest to you."
