Chapter 789 Arnark’s Eleven Core Skills

"Drop dead!" Zaira glared as she activated dozens of Grade 2 Core Skills, intending to transform the races of everyone in the Fantasy World and disrupt the power system, thereby causing the world to implode.

"Not on my watch!" Mascot said as, with a flick of her hand, dozens of eggs manifested in the void, with each representing a cheat. The shells shattered as energy beings manifested from within, targeting the Core Skills to nullify each other.

The Genre Representatives were only unable to cause a permanent death to the Systems. They were capable of everything else. Therefore, Mascot continuously countered Zaira's abilities.

"This world is Shit!" The Tell-Tale System unleash while hiding behind Zaira, focusing on the Fantasy World.

"Your words lack value!" Arnark conveyed in response as the effects of the two nullified each other. He was already using Lore to its full effect. Each of his words contained the same level of power that Compass Carburettor had when he used it the moment he arrived at the scene.

Main Character Core Skill—Lore (Level 92)!

As this was Arnark's current level as the Main Character System, his Core Skill too reached the same level.

Suddenly, while he and the Tell-Tale System were at an impasse, Arnark shouted all of a sudden, vanishing from the scene, "Master!"

Boom!

Suddenly, Arnark appeared upon the Dragon System after it had been weakened by Compass Carburettor and group. Mental Energy exploded out of his body as suddenly, the expressions of every single System paled in response, sensing the familiar energy signature.

Main Character Core Skill—Restriction Order (Level 92)!

"Wha…" The Dragon System was alarmed when its powers were sealed by the very same ability that once terrified all Systems.

This was the power Arnark possessed upon becoming the Main Character.

With its powers sealed, the Dragon System was unable to retaliate. It was already in a state of imbalance thanks to the powers of Hazen and others, and now, with all its powers sealed, it became a sitting duck.

Roar!

Slayer unleashed a massive serpent created using the Fantasy World's essence, one that gobbled up the Dragon System to rapidly digest it; its body dissolved.

And unlike before, Arnark was capable of using the Restriction Order with precision effect.

"You dare!" The Apocalypse System stopped attacking Immortal and rushed at Arnark, unleashing its power to transform everything into an apocalyptic setting.

"Core Skill Manifestation…" At its shout, the Grade 2 Systems intending to attack Arnark rapidly jumped to the System World before returning to the Fantasy World's universe, at a location far away.

"Apocalypse!" Instantly, the void transformed into a dilapidated world, with terrifying monsters scuttling about while everything on the side of survivors continued to be depleted.

Food, ammunition, mental strength, etc. This was what they experienced mentally.

Even Mascot began to experience mental exhaustion, feeling as if she had been fighting nonstop for days with the mental state of a normal human.

Core Skill Manifestation was an ultimate move that only Grade 3 Systems could unleash. It manifests their concept into reality, bringing everyone within its range into its effect. This was why the Grade 2 Systems escaped, for it would be hard for them to survive in this scenario.

Though, with Apocalypse's input, they could enter this apocalypse without any danger, being on the side oppressing the survivors.

But, even in response to such a frightening ability, Arnark wasn't afraid, instead breaking into a smile as suddenly, the terrifying creatures rushing at him, with each the size of a celestial object, crashed into one another, engaging in a tussle, vying for victory to declare who will consume their prey—Arnark.

Main Character Core Skill—Plot Armour (Level 92)!

"How…many Core Skills does this bastard have?" Zaira gritted her teeth upon sensing the streams of fate and luck intervene all of a sudden to encompass a complex network that resulted in the Grade 2 Systems and the monsters of the apocalypse clashing with one another to somehow allow Arnark and Slayer to weave through them and continue consuming the Dragon System.

"You bastard!" Zaira glared at Slayer, "Gilthru, you venomous snake! You were fooling me all along!"

"Yep," Slayer broke into a smile, having destroyed the Dragon System's body as he consumed the power of its Core Skill, dividing it into two to imprint it onto the Divinity Incarnate and Destruction Incarnate Professions, empowering the Dragon Race of his world.

The reason Slayer took the initiative to kill the Main Characters wasn't just to appease Zaira or hide his true motives. It was also to prevent knowledge regarding such Main Characters from being conveyed to the Systems.

That was why, the Main Characters with the highest potential were killed prematurely. The Main Character with the power of Plot Armour was killed within three months of his birth as the Main Character.

But thanks to Plot Armour, he indeed gave a lot of headaches to Slayer. After he was killed, Arnark retained all information regarding Plot Armour and focused on birthing the Core Skill once again.

This was what he spent the majority of his time doing—selecting the greatest of Hosts to turn into Main Characters, and after their death, focusing on recovering their Core Skills. This was how Arnark gained the Core Skills of every single Main Character that had been born to date, all eleven of them.

Compass Carburettor was the eleventh Main Character. And indeed, when he was birthed, Arnark was honestly terrified. After all, as the Main Character, Compass Carburettor was more terrifying than himself.

But, if not for their plans reaching the climax, Slayer would have hunted Compass Carburettor in the Apocalyptic World itself, moments after he became the Main Character.

During his time behind the scenes, Arnark carefully comprehended all the Main Character Core Skills, ranking them based on the order of their lethality. The greater their lethality, the faster they were killed—either by Slayer or by leaking the information to the Systems to allow them to deal with the Main Character.

They did this in situations when Slayer couldn't move.

And in this ranking list of Main Character Core Skills, Plot Armour was only the third most lethal. Above it was Arnark's Core Skill of Restriction Order, the sole power that rendered Systems helpless before him.

And finally, standing at the peak was one that allowed him to branch out into anything he wished and transform that into whatever he so desired, the power to make infinite changes to the existing setup.
