"Humph!"
Tang Xiaoxin wrinkled her nose, dissatisfied, "My name is Tang Xiaoxin! This is my classmate Keke!"
"Hello, Zoo Director!"
Qian Keke looked curious, although she had heard from Tang Xiaoxin early on that Brother Fang Ye was very handsome, now that she finally saw him, well, he really was quite handsome.
"Hello there. How is it, are the red pandas fun?"
"Haha, just now a red panda got frightened by a stone, looked so clumsy, really too cute!"
"The way they eat bamboo is also very adorable!"
The two little girls excitedly shared their feelings.
"Hello, Director!"
The other visitors also greeted Fang Ye.
Most of today's earliest batch of visitors came in response to the live broadcast, so naturally, they recognized him.
Fang Ye smiled and nodded in response.
A girl in an orange coat asked, "Director, it seems like such hard work for the red pandas to eat bamboo. Why not place the bamboo on the ground instead of so high up?"
"Oh, that's called enrichment; it's a form of enrichment." Someone asked, and Fang Ye immediately began to patiently educate, "First, we need to understand what is enrichment? Imagine, one day, you're abducted by aliens. They lock you in a small cage with nothing inside, feeding you compressed biscuits with a terrible texture.
Your life is extremely monotonous, and all you can do is lie on the ground and daydream, wouldn't you feel desperate?"
"Hmm..." The girl in the orange coat involuntarily nodded, and the visitors leaned in to listen to him speak.
Fang Ye continued, "Day after day of tedium passes, and you get so bored you can only count your own hairs, scratching words into the floor with your nails. Suddenly, one day the aliens give you a switch to a bedroom with a lot of space, wouldn't you be happy?"
Tang Xiaoxin admired Fang Ye, clapping enthusiastically, "Brother Fang Ye is so cool!"
Qian Keke nodded earnestly in agreement, "Mhm!"
Fang Ye's mouth twitched into a wry smile; everyone else only noticed his exceptional talent, but they overlooked his handsome appearance. Only the little girls had an eye for it.
"Does anyone else have any questions?"
"Nope, thank you, Director Fang!"
The visitors dispersed, some continued to watch the red pandas, while others started walking around the exhibit.
A man in a short-sleeve shirt, with his hands clasped behind his back, looked interestedly at an educational display on the wall. The display in front of him provided basic information about red pandas, accompanied by a photo of a red panda lazily napping on a tree branch.
"Red Panda: A member of the Ailuridae family, red pandas are a species of small mammals native to the southwestern regions of China. Red pandas have reddish-brown fur and a long, bushy tail..."
A young man wearing a baseball cap walked to a corner, where a display panel about the challenges to the survival of red pandas was located. The image on the panel showed a hunter with a gun, a lifeless red panda draped over his shoulder, its large tail hanging limply.
"The estimated wild population of red pandas is only around 10,000, and the trend is decreasing. They are listed as an endangered species on the 'International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List of Threatened Species'..."
As he read, the young man's expression grew solemn. Looking down at the red panda skeletal specimen on the exhibit below, he carefully took out his phone and snapped a photo.
Fang Ye watched as the visitors showed joy and affection for the charming behavior of the red pandas, while others became visibly concerned about their precarious existence. He nodded in satisfaction, pleased that the overall presentation seemed to be quite effective.
The daily mission of the red panda exhibit "Education" showed as completed, and he casually claimed the reward of 10 green leaf coins.
Just then, a young woman with a camera approached him. Fang Ye smiled and said, "Hello there, do you have any questions, or is there something I can help you with?"
"Director Fang, I am Mi Jin, a reporter from Green Coastal! I was listening to your talk just now, and it was really well done!"
"Oh, hello, Reporter Mi, welcome!" Fang Ye suddenly realized who she was and shook her hand. "You came so early today, how do you find the visit so far?"
Mi Jin gave a thumbs up: "The environment is particularly great, I took lots of beautiful photos on the way here. I especially love this red panda exhibit, feels like I could watch it attentively all day. When I go back, I'm going to write an article and praise it to the skies."
Fang Ye quickly expressed his thanks. Although he hadn't heard of Green Coastal, any publicity was good, and the reporter seemed to be taking her job seriously.
