He was lying back comfortably in his chair but as soon as he saw that the call was from Lü Jiamu, he felt a sudden pang of anxiety, his eyes narrowed, and he sat up straight.
Lü Jiamu was always in charge of looking after the macaques, and the macaques behaved well under his care.
He could handle small issues on his own; a phone call now certainly meant something big had happened that he couldn't control.

Lü Jiamu's anxious voice came through, panting heavily as if he was running while talking; in the background were sharp "squeaks": "Boss, it's not good! White Brow just got into a fight with Black Claws, and it's pretty fierce... Oh, oh, the macaques are getting agitated..."

Lü Jiamu seemed to have escaped the monkeys' attack and was catching his breath, "Hey, White Brow seems to be hurt; it's bleeding. The zoo's recruitment of new staff naturally meant that Lü Jiamu also had an apprentice to train and to assist with tasks; they worked in pairs, but a novice could barely handle the macaques. They could only help with minor chores like weighing feed and cleaning cages. Their main job was to observe and learn, familiarizing themselves with the daily tasks of an animal keeper.
The zoo now had more than just Lin Ying for a veterinarian; two more had been hired. However, Lin Ying was definitely the first to come to mind, being the earliest arrival.
"Okay, wait for me to get there!"
Fang Ye hung up the phone, his heart racing with anxiety, as he quickened his pace towards the macaque exhibit!
