Chapter 432: Chapter 432: Golden Demonslaying Sword
“Damn it, an empty box, I’ve participated in at least six supply box searches and I’ve never encountered an empty box before…” An NPC profession cursed under his breath, venting all his anger on the surrounding mutated phantoms. “Enough, are you planning to argue with that big guy? It’s already at level 30, and supposedly almost at the threshold of first order combat power. Why is it so hell-bent on getting a job change certificate, if not for upgrading to first order combat power?”
“Yeah, are you planning to fight it here? Just so you know, I definitely won’t help you when the time comes. Su Te can morph into an Ancient War Tree, after all…”
The NPC profession muttered as he rushed towards the exit of the cemetery. If he didn’t leave now, they would be surrounded by the mutated phantoms again. This time, Su Te was probably not going to morph into a tree fortress to shield them from the elements.
“Alright, Su Te, I hope your job change is successful!” Sophie looked at Su Te with mixed feelings, patted its arm, held the magic staff, and also rushed towards the cemetery exit.
“Damn it, why don’t any of you believe me!” Su Te felt extremely aggrieved, his chest feeling as though it was about to explode. Just then, a mutated phantom roared at him and pounced, only to run straight into the muzzle of his gun and be torn to pieces by Su Te’s two hands.
After venting his anger, Su Te, covered in wounds, cursed loudly and, like a bulldozer, broke a path and rushed towards the exit of the cemetery.
The mutated phantoms, having lost their target, transformed back into white. Now aimless, they began to drift around. The entire cemetery seemed to be burning with tufts of white flames, creating an eerie scene.
At this moment, Song Jian, morphed into Dark Cloud, was roaming above the cemetery. Seeing that all the NPCs had left, Song Jian immediately descended to the edge of the cemetery and began checking his inventory to see what he had obtained from the supply box.
“Wow, look at this, it’s a design drawing for an intelligent rocket-car! Does such a thing even exist? God, with this thing, who would dare to fight me!” Song Jian’s gaze first landed on a booklet emitting golden light.
The cover of the booklet read “Intelligent Rocket-Car Design Drawing”. However, judging by the thickness of the book, it would likely take a significant amount of effort to completely build this self-propelled car;
Even if constructing this self-propelled car is challenging, Song Jian would spare no effort to make it;
“You need to be level eight in Engineering Craftsmanship Skill to learn it. Okay, I’ll save it for later. I’m only three levels away. I’ll meet the learning requirements soon.” Song Jian glanced at the conditions for learning from the design drawing, shrugged, and shifted his gaze to the other items.
“Ugh, clean water, compressed food, and first aid supplies. It’s true that these are the most urgently needed supplies in an apocalypse, but they’re of no use to me!” Song Jian pulled a face. The supply box was filled with food, water, and medicine, but these basic living supplies were no longer a concern for someone who owned an estate.
Besides these supplies, the rest were weapons; two handguns, three MP5 submachine guns, and universal bullets for the handgun and submachine guns;
“Alright, I shouldn’t have expected too much. With that design drawing, I’ve already made a profit this time. Can’t be too greedy; greed is the original sin!” Although Song Jian was slightly dissatisfied, he comforted himself.
Just as Song Jian was about to close the inventory, he was suddenly attracted by a golden glow. Upon a closer look, there was a long sword entirely made of dark gold in the last row of the inventory.
“Golden Demonslaying Sword (Gold), one-handed sword, equipment effect: Attack 87-96, Critical Hit +5, Knockback +3, Demon Slayer +1, Attack Speed +7, Gold Damage +35, Outstanding Strike Rate +10%; Special Effect 1: Master (Passive), the item absorbs the user’s essence blood for recognition, after master recognition the item cannot be destroyed, dropped or worn out; Special Effect 2: Growth (Passive), this item of equipment grows, initial level 1, the higher the level achieved by gaining battle experience, the stronger the item attributes, but the item level cannot exceed the user level; Wearing requirement: Level 1; Suit: 1/5. Can it be taken out of the game: No ”
“Hiss, this is another piece of the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword set!” Song Jian was taken aback, but then he was covered with immense joy, and he couldn’t wait to jump up and celebrate right then!
You need to know that the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword in his hand is not only a growing weapon, but also part of the gold suit – Song Jian had always thought that the remaining parts of this suit would be armors or something similar; he never imagined that the other parts of the suit turned out to be long swords.
Song Jian took the “Golden Demonslaying Sword” out of the inventory and held it in his hand. The sword was dark gold all over, extremely gorgeous. On the ridge of the sword, a golden line extended like a long dragon from the hilt to the tip, making it look like a king’s sword!
As Song Jian held the “Golden Demonslaying Sword” in his hand, the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword in his heart seemed to sense its existence and started to tremble slightly. Patches of aura emerged from his heart and traveled along his meridians to his right hand;
Soon, the Golden Demonslaying Sword also began to shudder slightly with the exact same frequency as the other sword;
“Looks like I’m going to be fighting with dual swords from now on!” Song Jian glanced at the dark gold long sword in his hand and thought to himself.
After dripping a drop of blood onto the Golden Demonslaying Sword, an intense golden light burst out from the sword, shooting straight into the sky. But the light only appeared for an instance before disappearing, making Song Jian think that it may have been an illusion.
After recognizing the master with blood, Song Jian felt a slight connection with the long sword in his hand. He could control it as easily as if it were an extension of his arm, just as flexible and natural as the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword.
Just then, the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword suddenly shot out from his heart. Even without Song Jian’s summoning, it hovered closely in mid-air. The Golden Demonslaying Sword in his hand also began to shake violently, as though it was trying to break free from Song Jian’s control;
Song Jian had a hunch and immediately opened his hand. Sure enough, the Golden Demonslaying Sword flew towards the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword, and the blades of the two long swords began to stick to each other, slowly starting their fusion process.
Song Jian watched all this in amazement. To Song Jian, all this was simply too miraculous. If this were the real world, there’s no way this could happen.
In no time, the two long swords merged into one and turned into a long sword that fell towards Song Jian;
Grasping the fused long sword, Song Jian felt as though he was holding two long swords at the same time. With a thought, the long sword in his hand turned into the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword, while the Golden Demonslaying Sword became a phantom shadow and attached itself to the side of the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword.
With another thought, the long sword immediately transformed back into the Golden Demonslaying Sword, and the Crimson Fire Heart Ape Sword became a phantom shadow on the Golden Demonslaying Sword.
Looking at the long sword that could change at will, Song Jian couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
