At the shrubs.

Two of the three police cars had stopped in front of an abandoned church. Jie Yun and Wei Lou were both wearing civilian clothes and their hands were cuffed. Officer Ying Wu was the one who appeared before them

Officer Ying Wu said, “Please follow me to the church. The one who temporarily freed you is waiting for you.”

The two of them followed after the young police officer. Inside the abandoned church, even though it was slightly dim and the wooden benches in rows look a bit old, most of them are still usable. The place was cleaned up before it was occupied. The outside was in ruins but the inside is livable.

Police Officer Ying Wu left for a moment when he didn’t spot their superior in the church. He had no other choice but to temporarily leave the two criminals with their hands still cuffed.

Wei Lou started acting like the thug he is. He sling his arm over Jie Yun’s shoulder and said,

Wei Lou reacted fast as he pushed away the man and dodged the fatal blow. If that elbow landed on his body his left rib cage would mostly be shattered by impact.

“Not bad~ little bro, are you a professional killer? Your move just now is too deadly~” said Wei Lou.

Jie Yun coldly narrowed his eyes on the former mafia not far from him and said, “A remnant of a Fallen Family ha. No wonder you act so unfriendly.”

Wei Lou lost his smile with this comment. He hated it when others mentioned his broken clan. The two were about to break a brawl on the spot when they were stopped by the arrival of Ye Yuyan who washed his face to remove the scent of alcohol on him.

Ye Yuyan passed between the two and sat at the wooden bench looking at them.

“What’s wrong? Continue fighting. It’s just about to get interesting...” said Ye Yuyan.

Based on how he is acting he doesn’t even care if the two of them beat up each other until they kill one another. They are criminals and Ye Yuyan’s reputation in the criminal world is quite high.

Jie Yun said, “Aren’t you are, Prosecutor Ye? So you are really alive?”

Ye Yuyan glanced at Police Officer Ying who came with him and said, “Uncuff then and start the explanation.”

Ye Yuyan rolled his eyes and recalled Hua Heiyu which instantly put him in a sour mood.

“Ying Wu put the bracelet on them,” said Ye Yuyan.

Wei Lou and Jie Yun didn’t dare to resist as Ying Wu put the black bracelet which is almost a perfect fit on their wrist and seems to be unable to be removed by normal means.

Ye Yuyan said, “Oh~ those bracelets are made from special materials unless you are willing to cut off your hand, that cannot be removed without my biometrics.”

Officer Ying Wu was observing the scene from a distance when suddenly his phone rang. It was a call from their ministry of defense. A piece of shocking news was reported to him.

“Prosecutor Ye! Something happened to the last criminal. He escaped!” exclaimed Ye Yuyan.

“If he was innocent why didn’t he call for help?”

Ye Yuyan’s sudden outburst rendered everyone speechless. Even Ying Wu didn’t expect his superior to lose his cool all of the sudden. It seems he hates Hua Heiyu more than anything in the world yet at the same time he knew deep in his heart that the young man might not be the one who killed his family. If so... Why isn’t he saying a single word to help solve that case? It was because of this that he hated Hua Heiyu with all his heart.

Meanwhile at the same gas station where the last police car was stopped. Ye Yuyan and the other three had followed over to listen to the two police officers who were supposed to bring Hua Heiyu to the shrubs.
