Officer Ying Wu started talking in his waking talkie and commanded some police who were summoned by the Prosecutor to search the whole area. Wei Lou himself sent orders to his little brothers to search for the murderer.

Once Officer Ying Wu and Wei Lou leave to follow his command. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan, who was left behind, didn’t even move. His wife’s words still echo in his ears.

Staring at the dead body just near his foot, Prosecutor Ye Yuyan is even more depressed in his heart.

Then he brought out his phone and started calling a few people who would handle the crime scene. He waited there until those professionals in forensics came over to take over.

He entered the small store which was open at this time and bumped into someone wearing a black shirt and carrying an umbrella with him. Since Wei Lou didn’t smell any scent of blood or see a raincoat on the person he ignored him and shouted to the boss of the store that he wanted a smoke.

“Boss, give me a box of cigs and a lighter!” said Wei Lou.

The store owner said, “Okay. Here you go.”

Wei Lou was about to pay for the cigarette when he noticed a splash of blood on the back of his left hand. This was the hand that bumped into that man in the shirt. Even though he wasn’t a genius with critical thinking, his instinct as a police officer when finding criminals is even sharper than Ye Yuyan.

As soon as he saw the blood on the back of his hand, Wei Lou knew that this man was most likely the killer that was on the run. He immediately comes after him.

Wei Lou looked serious as he stared at the man holding an umbrella in front of him. He was ready to jump on him if the man even tried to run away

“Hey! You?! The one holding that black umbrella. It is you right? The one who bumped me inside the store just now!! Huh? Do you think you can just be me and leave just like that!? Come over here! Here!!” said Wei Lou.

He is pretending to be the mafia he currently looks like. This way if this man is indeed the killer, he would think that an ordinary thug is making things hard for him.

The store owner noticed the fight in front of his store and noticed a thug asking someone he is familiar with for a beating. He shouted at Wei Lou to show his support for the acquaintance.

The store owner said, “Oi! Doctor Shen didn’t even bump into you intentionally. My store is too small, it is normal for someone to be inside. Don’t ask to fight unreasonably.”

He immediately used the walkie-talkie and sent messages not only to the policemen but also to his little brothers.

“Suspect sighted! Suspect sighted! He wasn’t wearing a raincoat anymore. He is wearing black pants and a black shirt and is currently running. He is running through the alleys!! Fuck!” said WeibLou as he immediately sprinted to chase after the criminal.

Officer Ying Wu who received this message instantly issued the pursuit command. In the middle of the night under the rain, numerous men were running all over in the direction Wei Lou had mentioned trying to corner the culprit. But Wei Lou forgot to mention the existence of his thug brothers to the policemen causing conflict between the two groups.

When Wei Lou finally caught up with Doctor Shen, they fought toe to toe and noticed that both of them were skilled enough. Doctor Shen’s move was fast and precise; all attacks had the intention to kill. But Wei Lou is different. He is fast and stronger than Doctor Shen but his movements were done more to subdue him than kill him.

Doctor Shen also noticed his peculiarity and learned which group Wei Lou came from. He sneered and said while exchanging moves,

“Your movements I can see that you are not a thug as you portray. Instead, you look more like a field police undercover,” said Doctor Shen.

Thoughts of Wei Lou, ‘How did he know?!’

Wei Lou was stunned as he thought his identity was busted and showed an opening at that last moment. Doctor Shen, a killer who honed his knife skills to perfection, didn’t waste this opportunity and wanted to slit Wei Lou’s main artery in the neck.

Suddenly, a merciless thrust coke from the man who appeared out of nowhere holding a closed umbrella in front of Doctor Shen and Wei Lou. The tip of the umbrella was targeting the head of Doctor Shen and he dodge it only for the tip of the umbrella to dip and stab at his right shoulder.

Doctor Shen’s thoughts, ‘This person is different from that undercover police. He intended to kill me without hesitation!’

“Shit!” Doctor Shen ran away but Hei Yuhua didn’t pursue him. Wei Lou tried to run after the man as he saw that Hei Yuhua wasn’t chasing.

Hei Yuhua stared at them with emotionless eyes. His silver eyes look colder than the temperature of the ice rain falling on his head. No one noticed the trembling legs under him as well as some traces of blood tinting his white shoes together with mud.

The same evening in the middle of the night, almost at dawn, near the house of the second surviving victim from last year’s serial killing. Docter Shen who was on run bumped into a police officer hiding in an alley near his final victim’s house.

“There are lots of police protecting her like this. Thankfully, I made some preparations in advance and ask that man to work for me,” mumbled Doctor Shen as he hid in the corner treating his stabbed wound in his right shoulder.

It was the same wound Hei Yuhua stabbed mercilessly.

“Who the fuck is that man?! He looks like an omega but how can he have that much strength on his slender body. He is more dangerous than that thug police officer! Anyway, I need to hide first... This place is the safest.” murmured Doctor Shen as he stole the officer clothes he took from the police he had just killed in the alley. “I can use that man...” then he looked at the dead body of the officer and thought of a plan to control the current situation and avoid being caught by this man who just arrived.

Then he saw someone running towards the house who was wearing a black suit. It was Yun Jie who is wearing the disguise of Jie Yun. After his conversation with Hei Yuhua at the abandoned church, Yun Jie hurriedly ran away and went to the recorded address of the second victim whom Officer Ying Wu had interviewed the last time.

The police officer was startled. As if backing up Jie Yun’s words, the phone possessed by the police officer suddenly rings.

“Yes, Officer Shen is speaking! EH!? Captain Ying Wu!”

{I thought you can with someone. I would have loved to ask for another helping hand to catch traces of the serial killer on the run.}

“He would only leave if he finds things interesting or you buy him food. I will check on the last victim. Continue your work.” said Jie Yun as he returned the phone to the police officer and proceeded to meet the lady who is supposed to be his elder sister from the same orphanage as she.

He rang the doorbell but the person who came to meet him wasn’t the lady owner of the house but instead a man.
