“I understand the plan but what kind of clues do you want me to gather?” asked Police Director Yu Xi.

“Just whatever you can get. Whether it was about the Syndicate itself or changes in Ying Su. No matter what you got just inform me. My wife would decide whether your report would be useful or not.” said Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Police Director Yu Xi felt helpless as he could feel that Ye Yuyan created a gap between the two of them. They are still close friends but the trust between them has long been broken. “What is it?” asked Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

Ying Wu replied, “Don’t kill A’Su, okay? He was controlled by that illegal system. What he did before is... Is something beyond his control.”

“Who told you that I want to kill him? In his current state, death is a luxury for him. It is better for him to be alive and suffer as much as he lives. He should know what I felt when I saw Yu’er die countless times before my eyes.” said Prosecutor Ye Yuyan.

After they’ve finished talking, Ye Yuyan prepares to leave. He left some Teleportation Talisman to the two of them to use whenever they planned to meet and left nonchalantly using the same item. Prosecutor Ye Yuyan didn’t even say goodbye to the two who were left behind.

Once the Prosecutor disappeared from the office, Yu Xi and Ying Wu looked at each other and sighed deeply. They really feel too guilty around Ye Yuyan.

Yu Xi covered his eyes with a depressing aura coming from him and said, “A’Wu I’m not a good brother to Yuyan. In the end, when I choose to hide the fact about A’Su real identity from him, our brotherhood was affected and could never be repaired. I didn’t expect A’Su would do all those things to Yuyan and Saozi (Wife of his brother).”

“Those scenes were that of our past lives. Since it already happened we can’t change it anymore but at least... in the future I wanted Yuyan and Yuhua to be freed from their tragic past lives. Yu Xi said, “Yuyan already gave his word. He wouldn’t kill A’Su which is a relief. I do not know what Yuyan plans to do in the future. For now, let’s help him end the case and freed him from his responsibilities.”

“I agree with this,” said Ying Wu.

Meanwhile, Ye Yuyan teleported back to Crossfield Private School. He instantly arrived at the infirmary and saw his wife, not in a good mood.

Ye Yuyan asked, “Yu’er, what happened you do not seem to be in a good mood?”

“Hm? You’re back, A’Yan. You must have heard something that made you have such a bad expression. It seems we both heard something we don’t like.” said Hei Yuhua.

Ye Yuyan asked, “Did the conversation with those brats didn’t end up nicely?”

“No. Everything from that side is a done deal. Fu Tian had given me everything which would be helpful for us. I’ve let Xu Meiji bring them home. It’s just that Datura is making me angry. I saw someone I didn’t expect in his laboratory,” said Hei Yuhua.

“Who did you meet?” asked the Prosecutor.

Hei Yuhua replied, “A’Yan, I’ve met a woman who called herself my younger sister. Those people who called themselves my parents seem to still be alive. I’ve thought of myself as an orphan all this time.”

“What do you want to do, Yu’er?” asked Ye Yuyan.

Hei Yuhua responded, “...I don’t know.”

“Then think about it for a while. I will be by your side no matter what your decisions are,” said Prosecutor Ye Yuyan as he comforted his wife in his embrace.

Hei Yuhua hugs his husband and finally calms down the unknown emotion that sprouted in his heart. System Yang responded, [This is the correct place. There’s a hidden door behind this shelf. Don’t worry there is only one person inside but... It doesn’t seem to be your target at all. Datura is currently at that warehouse Student Fu Miyan is talking about, he is playing with his fated mate, Yi Rouya.]

Hei Yuhua said, “If it was not him inside then who is it?”

System Yang advised, [It’s better for you to meet the one inside on your own. It will depend on you whether this person would be an enemy or not.]

“What do you mean, Yang?” asked Hei Yuhua.

System Yang said, [See for yourself.]

Hei Yuhua was a bit confused by how System Yang was acting but decided to follow his advice. He entered the room without touching the door and instead used a Teleportation Talisman to get inside.

The interior of the secret laboratory isn’t that big but it was enough for two to three people to move unhindered inside the place. The whole room was fully renovated. Only a long table at the center filled with tools for creating medicine and a few shelves full of raw materials for making drugs are too eye-catching, especially the tools for creating medicines even the government doesn’t have this high technology tools such as these. Most likely these tools were smuggled into the country when Azalea and Hyacinth arrived.

Hei Yuhua didn’t notice the person right away as he was surveying the whole room with cameras and other tools for surveillance. This young lady is called Hei Yumei. The young genius of the Hei Family. She had been born with almost 200 IQ, not less than Hei Yuhua’s 250 IQ. Their parents were famous scientists before they were kidnapped by the Syndicate. They weren’t able to escape this group no matter what. When they first had Hei Yuhua, leaving the Syndicate at that time was their first attempt. In the end, they were only able to safely bring out their son before they were recaptured by the Syndicate.

The Hei Couple were the main scientists who created multiple drugs the Red Poppy Syndicate sells. But this wasn’t their original goal, before they were kidnapped the goal of this Hei couple is to create medicine to cure cancer. That was their lifetime goal but it ended before they completed it as they were taken away by the Syndicate and imprisoned for a very long time.

After their first failed attempt to escape was not achieved, the Syndicate frightened them and told the couple that their son was killed as a punishment for trying to escape. The Hei Couple was greatly saddened by such an event and they wouldn’t ever expect that the famous Agent Y of Aster was their supposed deceased son. When Hei Yumei was born her parents had warned her to keep on guard against the Syndicate. Don’t believe them whole-heartedly as they were the ones who killed her elder brother, Yuhua.

Because of her skill at such a young age, Datura had taken her under his wings as a disciple but deep inside her heart, she knew that Datura’s reason for getting her to his side is for some other reason. She would always see Datura staring at him with eyes glinting with hatred and excitement as if seeing another person in her.

She wasn’t able to understand his reason for taking her as his disciple until she heard some news about an extremely skilled Agent from the Intelligence Division of her homeland. Agent Y, is the most powerful agent in the whole world. He had a 99.99% mission completion percentage. After investigating Agent Y’s history, she learned that the reason why Agent Y’s mission percentage was less than 0.01 is because of the interference of the Red Poppy Syndicate. They’ve gotten involved and saved the mad scientist Datura from his clutches.

When Hei Yumei saw Agent Y’s life history, she recalled what her parents had said. She had an inkling that Agent Y is supposed to be her deceased elder brother. She wasn’t sure until Hei Yuhua appeared before her right at this moment. She had even forgotten the fact that the figure of Hei Yuhua had appeared in thin air as she couldn’t move her eyes from his face that looked one-third similar to hers.

They both asked at the same time.

Hei Yuhua asked, “Who are you?”

“Are you my elder brother?” asked Hei Yumei.
