Monday, August 3rd.
I couldn’t help but feel excited at the thought of Comiket in just four days.
As I rode the commuter train, I checked the time on my phone.
“It’s about time.”
I was looking forward to this time because we didn’t get to see each other much last week.
Just then, a tepid high school girl stood in front of me.
‘Good morning, Onii-San.”
“Yo, Yuika.”
After all, I couldn’t start my day without hearing Yuika’s voice in the morning.
Of course, I wasn’t thinking that I was lonely.
I just want my days like these to remain unchanged always. Yeah.
“You’re here again.”
“I didn’t come here to see Onii-San.”
“Hmph… I wasn’t waiting for you either.”
“Would you be happy if I said I was joking?”
“I am happy.”
And then I realized something.
“You’re in uniform today.”
“Yes, it’s a club activity. It’s been morning for a while isn’t it? .”
I forgot to mention that student clubs did a lot of summer activities as well.
Moreover, It was a pain to practice in the morning.
“Even the computer graphics club does club activities during summer vacation, huh.”
“If I don’t do it every day, I won’t be able to draw anymore.” Yuika replied.
“He~. It’s the same as the athletic club in that way.”
“Hah. … I wish you could lend a gentle hand to the poor CG club members.” Yuika said.
“Use my arm if you like.” I proposed.
“That’s very thoughtful of you.”
Yuika, her back against the wall, grabbed my arm and munnie’d it twice.
I thought she might be feeling down about her summer morning practice, but she looked to be in a surprisingly good mood.
“So, did things go well with your trainee?” (T/N: Trainee= Kaedezaka)
“Ah. We were able to finish all the work.”
“Then for the time being, We’ve cleared the first step.”
“Yeah.”
Yesterday, Kaedezaka and I had finished the final check of the booths and items for sale.
Only thing left to do was to finalize the arrangements with the team members, but since most of them were serious about it, I wasn’t worried about it.
Kaedezaka was also serious about her work.
It was limited to work only, though. …
Yuika groaned unnaturally, “Mm-hm” and said.
“I see. You worked hard on making out together with her in your room. Onii-San has finally achieved adulthood, you are on your own now. I’m going to miss you.”
“Hey. Don’t make up stories on your own.”
There it was.
Yuika’s specialty, the love talk.
But the other party was Kaedzaka.
There was a little trouble, like her chest touching my back, but nothing serious.
We did cook together, but there was no romantic element involved. I was sure about it.
“I would never do such a thing.” I replied.
“Yes. You can’t.” Yuika agreed.
“How can you say that?”
“I’m not wrong.”
I think it was time to get rid of my label as a weakling.
Moreover, She said with full confidence that she was not wrong.
Here, Yuika said something unexpected.
“But I was hoping for a BL development, but alas…”
“BL?”
Hmmm? Why are we suddenly talking about BL?
Isn’t BL the thing where two guys are in love with each other?
Perhaps, she thinks the trainee is a guy?
Now that I think about it, I never said the trainee was a woman the whole time.
Yuika looked at me with a doubtful look on her face.
“It’s a guy, right?
“A..Ah.”
“Hmm.”
“What?” I asked.
“Nothing.”
I would not want to be associated with BL stories, but on the other hand, if she found out that it was a woman, I would become a victim of her love talk.
It would be better to keep the trainee’s identity as a man.
But Yuika was already looking at me with suspicion.
“Hey, is he cute?” She asked.
“It’s different.”
“I’ll give you three seconds.”
“If anything, she’s a beautiful woman.”
It seemed impossible to lie through my teeth any longer, so I decided to tell the truth.
Because I was scared.
“Mou~. You can’t keep secrets from me.” She said,
“I’m sorry.”
“Very well.”
Yuika did not become grumpy when she heard that the trainee was a woman.
Rather, she was in a good mood.
Perhaps it was a good thing that I had been obedient and confessed to her?
Hmm. I don’t know anything about a woman’s heart
“Then, here” She said.
“… bento?”
“Yes. Today I made a pork cutlet sandwich. I heard that your junior made beef stew for you, so I thought maybe you like meat-based food.”
That was Yuika for you, I really appreciate it.
In fact, cutlet sandwiches were one of my favorite foods.
I was honestly glad to hear that she made it with my taste in mind.
Wait, Yuika was thinking about… me?
She was usually a cheeky high school girl, but the thought of her making the bento with my taste in her mind, touched my heart.
Certainly, It had less vegetables and probably didn’t include broccoli, which was my nemesis.
It was a great bento.
“Oh, and I threw in some broccoli.”
“Can I leave it?”
“No, thank you.”
