Chapter 103: Little Fortune-teller (3)
Ye Yu patted Zhang Huan’s shoulders generously and smiled, saying, “I’ll bring brother Zhang Huan around to check out what’s there.”
“You…!”
Zhang Huan was stunned by how impolite she was and his first reaction was to get mad at her. However, the second before he got angry at her, he suddenly froze.
“How do you know…my name?”
He remembered that he didn’t even introduce himself yet.
Right now, Ye Yu had sat back down. After hearing Zhang Huan’s question, she raised her head and glanced at him as if she was “caring for a retard.”
The slender beautiful and snow-white fingertips pointed at the inked word on the banner.
“Did brother not see this word in large print? Tch…”
How did he become blind at such a young age?
“…” Zhang Huan’s face flushed at the obvious hidden meaning, but he felt a lingering fear towards Ye Yu because he couldn’t see through her ability to tell-fortune. Therefore, he didn’t dare to say something easily.
After a while, seeing that the man hadn’t returned to his stall, Ye Yu became impatient in her heart.
She shifted her gaze and asked, “Brother, is there a matter?”
Zhang Yuan who had been in a dilemma, standing at his original spot, couldn’t hold it in anymore.
He stood up and asked, “Junior brother, you really know how to tell fortune?”
“Senior brother, haven’t you experienced that?” Ye Yu shrugged her shoulders.
“Junior brother, besides my name, what else can you figure out?”
“…”
Ye Yu said nothing and she smiled, bringing attention to her beautiful peach blossom eyes.
Then, she placed her snow-white and slender right hand on the table, placing her thumb and index finger together and then rubbing it.
Yet, Zhang Huan stared at the little “junior brother” in front of him, stunned.
He hadn’t noticed before, but after taking a closer look, he noticed that this little junior brother… was quite handsome.
Seeing that Zhang Huan hadn’t reacted, Ye Yu raised her head to see the other party glancing at her.
Ye Yu was speechless.
“Cough, brother Zhang Huan?”
Zhang Huan snapped out of his gaze after his little junior brother called him and he couldn’t help but awkwardly ask, “What did junior brother just say?” He couldn’t help but shift his gaze somewhere else.
Ye Yu helplessly withdrew her hand.
“I can do a lot. As long as senior brother can afford the price.”
“What do you want then?”
Ye Yu originally wanted to ask what he wanted to know, but the second before saying anything, her expression changed. She smiled and said, “Brother Zhang Huan had been in the Jian Sect for seven years, so you must have some connections with the disciples on the trade fair as well as some networking for information.”
“…” After hearing this, Zhang Huan finally shifted his gaze and looked deeply at Ye Yu.
“What is junior brother planning?”
Ye Yu smiled harmlessly and said, “It’s just a fair trade and I won’t lie to you.”
…………
No one knew what Ye Yu had fortune-telled for Zhang Huan in the Jian Sect and whether it was accurate or not.
What they kenw, however, was that during that afternoon, the name “little fortune-teller” had spread across the entire Sect’s Mountain. About half a month later, Zhang Huan had obtained the victory within the same realm competition.
After her name became well-known. Ye Yu had achieved her motive. Therefore, she stopped being greedy and set up rules.
She was only a fortune-teller for five people per day and there were no exceptions.
Once the rules came out, the number of clients increased if anything. There were many disciples who came specially to wait in line at the trade fair to meet the mysterious young man.
——
Everyone had searched within the sect for the person and they finally confirmed that the young man had altered his appearance. They had never shown their true appearance to anyone.
Up until this morning, Ye Yu walked out of the room and lazily stretched, facing the sun.
While walking, a voice suddenly rang in her ears, “Who knew that the well-known “little fortune-teller” was a beautiful junior sister?”
