Chapter 60 Saving the Priestess

Name:I Only Tame Dragons Author:

Horizon wasn't concerned with the lackeys. His eyes were fixed solely on the towering Lizardman Chieftain boss, who bared its fangs in a malicious grin.

Its towering figure, twice the size of the others, exuded raw power. With an HP of 20,000 and a Constitution well over 200, it was a beast of sheer endurance, a force of nature. Its muscles rippled with every movement, its claws glinting under the dim light of the cave, promising carnage.

But Horizon's confidence was unshaken. His Strength was already sitting at an impressive 440, his other stats not far behind in the 300s. Against the boss, he felt like a storm about to break. He rolled his shoulders, loosening up as he prepared to engage.

With a sudden burst of speed, Horizon surged forward, aiming directly for the boss. The Lizardmen's leader roared, lifting a massive, jagged club to meet him. Horizon was faster—his blade collided with the boss's weapon in a flash of sparks, and the sheer force of his strike sent a shockwave through the chamber.

At the side, the Lizardmen warriors hissed and brandished their crude weapons, Von stepped forward with his wolfish grin.

"Let's see how your blood fair." His hand gripped the hilt of his pistol, its revolver humming as he flicked it.

"Stop playing around! They're coming!" Lydia shouted, her heart racing as she assessed her dire situation.

The Lizardmen slithered ominously around them, moving with ease around the cave.

The terrain was unforgiving—narrow spaces filled with jagged rocks, patches of sand, and pockets of murky water. There was no easy escape.

As the Lizardmen launched their assault, Lydia leaped aside, narrowly avoiding a spear that pierced the ground where she had stood moments before.

The Harpies took to the air, but the low ceiling restricted their flight, forcing them to stay low while they rained arrows down upon their foes. Yet the Lizardmen could still reach them with their deadly spears and arrows.

Space for evasion was limited, and the Harpies had to skillfully dodge while unleashing a barrage of projectiles.

Meanwhile, Von remained unfazed, standing his ground with an air of casual confidence. He sidestepped effortlessly, a fluid motion that made dodging look like a dance.

With a swift flick of his wrist, he fired his pistol at the distant Lizardmen while using his dagger to slice through the ones that dared to approach.

But what truly set him apart was his twisted amusement. He was collecting the blood of his enemies in a vial, an almost giddy anticipation in his eyes. With a grin, he unleashed his skill, [Bullet Essence], eager to test the potency of the Lizardmen's blood which turned to bullets by his skill.

He fired, excitement coursing through him, but disappointment washed over his face as the bullet struck true, revealing itself to be nothing more than a standard round laced with poison.

Still, it pierced the scales of the Lizardmen, a testament to the strength behind his shot.

Silphie's weak gaze was full of disbelief as she witnessed Horizon single-handedly defeat the Chieftain Boss, Uger. With the monstrous leader vanquished, freedom was finally within reach for her.

Silphie's gaze drifted to Horizon, awe mingling with curiosity as who the young man was.

While the Harpy warriors struggled against the Lizardmen's tough scales, this half-breed had dispatched the Chieftain with effortless strength, not even breaking a sweat or relying on any flashy skills.

Just who was he?
