Chapter 39 The First Death in the Trial
[When the user receives critical damage, enough to kill him in one singular attack, he can use his talent and willpower to keep going, setting his HP to 1.]
Which meant...
[HP: 1/1450]
Stark wasn't dead, just injured and on the verge of dying, the warrior could honestly breath in his direction and he would die.
"BOXER SMASH!"
"-8371!" Boxer hit the witch in full force again, thinking that her spell had actually killed Stark.
It didn't look like it, but Boxer seemed to be the type that respected his teammates, even if they were strangers he met twenty minutes ago.
Plus... this was supposed to be a two versus two, so if it became a 1v2, his chances of victory were slim.
Stark got up from the ground as the chains had disappeared, then activated [Aura Smash], sending a crimson fist toward the warrior who wasn't paying attention at Stark anymore.
"6371!"
[Enemy stunned!]
'Bingo,' Stark smirked and dashed toward the warrior under Boxer's bewildered gaze.
"YOU'RE NOT DEAD? HOW MUCH HP DO YOU HAVE?"
"..." Stark didn't reply, instead he focused on his target and punched it three times.
"-19281!"
The warrior was able to move after receiving this much damage, and tried to use [Strike] on Stark, who just stepped back to avoid it.
...
[Conjoined Witch HP: 13804/75000]
[Conjoined Warrior HP: 7554/75000]
Both the guardians were now head-to-head with Stark and Boxer.
Their HP was extremely low, and so it officially became a true 2V2, where the strongest would win.
"Fucking hell, these things just won't die," Boxer smirked, his hands trembling a bit.
"..."
But of course, there was one last thing that could screw them...
"Buff!" the witch used a buff spell on her brother.
And...
"FINAL STAND!" the warrior used his most powerful skill other than domain, which was only here to put the enemies at a disadvantage.
The aura around the warrior completely changed now: the necklace with the purple gem around was glowing immensely, and in return his entire skeletal body was emitting that same purple aura.
It was as if he was using everything he had in this final attempt to kill the intruders.
Stark immediately ran toward the witch, not wasting time as he needed to get rid of her first before she could heal or transfer some of her life to him.
The warrior on the other hand went for Boxer, it was as if he had some unknown grudge against him since the first "Boxer Smash".
[Enemy stunned]
And what came afterward...
"-2262! -2626! -2918!"
It was a one-sided beatdown, and the witch could do nothing.
"-3261!"
[Conjoined Witch HP: 0/75000]
Her HP reached 0 and she fell to the ground.
But of course, Stark didn't forget about the [Conjoined Bond] skill, and so as he faced the warrior, who was holding his broken head, he also used [Aura Smash].
"-7381!"
The skeleton guardian was sent flying, and Stark immediately catched up to him.
~CRACK~
"-3251!"
He broke the arm that was holding the sword in half, and sent it away, rendering the warrior weaponless and with no means to defend himself.
"Skeletal Aura," he tried to use one of his skills to deal just a bit of damage, enough to kill Stark.
But of course, he didn't let him.
[Conjoined Warrior HP: 1533/75000]
"Goodbye," Stark looked at the monster with pure hatred in his eyes.
And at that moment, even the guardian thought that that kid was... a monster.
"-13172!"
Stark broke his head completely, and it died.
Now... the two siblings were dead.
[Dealt massive damage and killing blow to GUARDIANS, regaining 837HP!]
And just as fast as he came in this domain, the world around Stark shifted... and he was transported back.

"Prepare yourselves, we're gonna have to fight," Dreamer adjusted his glasses and spoke to Hero and Orasio.
"Why is that?" Hero raised his eyebrow.
"Because the monsters will be back in a short amount of time, and we're gonna have to finish them off."
"W-what about Chosen and Boxer," Orasio mumbled.
"Sorry to break your expectations, but I do not believe they will survive this encounter, I think they will put them at low HP, just enough for the rest of us to survive, but it is unlikely that they will live through it," Dreamer was logical, it wasn't that he hoped they died, it was just logic, no one could defeat such beasts in a 2V2.
Or at least... that's what he believed.
[Glass Guardians #1: Conjoined Siblings, DEFEATED]
It was the moment this panel announced their victory that Stark appeared in the middle of the chamber, a blank expression on his face.
