Stark took a deep breath and slowly removed his foot from Sierra's face, his red aura fading slightly as he began to calm down.
[Your body is now unaffected by the mist]
This was good news, as otherwise he would have already been transformed, and Sierra would be the one that emerged victorious.
He didn't understand how he had managed to keep moving after all this, but maybe it was his will power and anger that powered up his aura enough to let him keep going.
In the end, it didn't matter, as he had won.
[You have slain 'Sierra, The Crystal Archer lv80', gained 1,350,000EXP!]
'HOLY!' Stark was astonished, he had never gotten this much EXP, and even the fights against the other monsters of this rift hadn't given him this much.
And of course...
~DING, DING~
He was surrounded by the golden aura twice.
[Your level has increased to level 30, granting you two skill points and boost in stats]
[Your level has increased to level 31, granting you two skill points and boost in stats]
And of course, reaching a new milestone like this meant one thing and one thing only...
[Level 30 Reached: please pick a card].
It wasn't different from the previous times, and three green cards appeared before him.
But this did make Stark wonder something: what about the [Alchemist] class?
If he had gained a new class, aka Alchemist, then shouldn't there be skill cards for it too?
[The 'Alchemist' class is a unique one, since all their power comes from their potions, and they already have everything needed: station, ingredients, ability to see ingredients; then their way of improving mostly relies on crafting good potions and increasing their alchemist level to create more powerful ones!]
'So no skill for an alchemist?' he tilted his head.
[Wrong! There are indeed SOME skills for alchemists, although very rare, and they are all extremely powerful, so most alchemists just rely on their basic ones!]
'Fair...' But this did mean that Stark would actually have to start focusing on how to upgrade his alchemy skills and his station from now on.
Sighing and rubbing his face, Stark took a moment to collect his thoughts.
Then he closed his eyes and picked a card at random.
It was a [Domination] class card, obviously, and once he turned it around, he saw the drawing of... an arrow pointing in several directions.
'The fuck?' this was the most confusing drawing out of them all.
...
[Skill: Target Manipulation]
[Type: Epic]
[Quality:] Perfect
[Attributes:] +700 Stamina; +500 Speed
[Special Perks:] Ability to use the [Archer's Focus] skill, a powerful skill that allows the user to predict the movements of an opponent and also increases your precision while firing an arrow by 50%.
...
He didn't even need to be an archer to know that this item would sell for an incredible amount of rher coins, and this brought a big smile to Stark's face.
The second item was a... QUIVER!?
Stark immediately grabbed it and checked the inside, and he almost jumped in joy after seeing that it was full of [Arrows of Sierra]!
He had forgotten about the mission since he was too busy focusing on his own survival, so it was great that he received the arrows regardless.
...
[Item:] Arrow Quiver
[Type:] Bag
[Quality:] Exquisite
[Description:] Contains exactly 100 [Arrows of Sierra].
...
And so that left him with one item as it was the only one still on the floor, its glint inviting Stark to pick it up.
Once he crouched to take it in hand, he noticed something strange: it was a paper.
No... it was a scroll!
And not a skill scroll, but a potion one, meaning that it was for the [Alchemist] class!
...
[Potion Scroll:] Crystal Stun Potion
[Perk:] Will know once learned!
[Ingredients:] Will know once learned!
...
[Do you want to learn this potion?]
[Y/N?]
'My first potion other than the basic ones,' Stark smiled, he was happy.
And so without hesitation he clicked on Y.
With that, his level as an alchemist was slightly better.
