'So much presentation...?' Stark was confused
The first envelope contained a luxurious letter, as well as... A CHEQUE!?
"YES!" Stark didn't even need to check the amount, he was already happy, he sure did love money.
...
[Cheque:] 5 million rher coins
...
'Nice...' he nodded happily before picking up the letter that was with the cheque.
The message was written by Arthur, which would already be a miracle for anyone to receive since the 'Archer King' was always busy and didn't have time for anyone, but Stark didn't seem to mind.
...
[Hello, Stark
As promised, here are the 5 million rher coins for the mission, and as for the rest, your tuition has already been paid, and your spot for the 'Rift Conqueror Academy' was secured.
You will be able to go there from next month onward, hope you succeed in graduating...
Arthur.]
...
"..." and so with that, Stark could finally feel that going through all the trouble of fighting his way through [Sierra's Death Path] was worth it, other than just to complete his [ApostleDex] of course.
Using his phone, he scanned the cheque and claimed the money inside his account.
And so with that, his overall assets ranged around 7.76 million rher coins.
Thinking that he went from 0 to this insane number brought a smile to Stark's face, but of course he couldn't forget that he would need to spend lots to buy ingredients in the future, as well as interesting items if he saw them: it meant that money was always needed, no matter how much he had of it.
After finishing with the first envelope, Stark moved on to the second one, curious about what else Arthur might have left for him as everything had already been said.
As he tore open the envelope, only a small letter fell, one much shorter than even the previous one.
And when he picked it up...
~DING~
As he navigated the district, he spotted many shops also selling goods related to rift exploration, as well as some luxurious displays with legendary/mythical items that cost a fortune on them.
"Level 100 training dummies, use them however you like, they don't break!" some guy was promoting an object to train.
"So you want to create a party, we're going to be 4..." while others were busy trying to find teammates.
But in the end, this wasn't where most of the activity was located... not at all...
'Rift Storer Association,' he mumbled, and once he looked up... he found himself in front of a giant building, at least five times the size of the biggest one in the 'Trading District', hundreds of people coming in and out of it.
Above the entrance was a holographic screen that displayed the name: "Rift Storer Association".
'Well... that's the place, so might as well go for it...' he had heard several people talk about it while he was heading there, as well as some other place called the [Classifier Colosseum], but he would maybe check it out later.
The interior of the 'Rift Storer Association' was bustling with activity, people from all over the city filling the spacious lobby, which somehow still had enough space to navigate easily even with all these people, it truly was enormous.
The appearance of it was quite luxurious, with marble floors and grand chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, illuminating the room in a soft golden light, although the 'theme' was more neon than anything else as colored lights were everywhere.
Dozens of screens greeted him wherever he looked, and there were many halls to go through, basically, the possibilities were endless, and he could easily guess this was the most popular building in the district.
And when he felt lost...
"Hello, sir, how may I help you?" one of the agents placed in this place to help out new classifiers appeared.
She was beautiful, but her appearance didn't interest Stark enough for him to take note of it.
"I would like to go to the area to get stronger, if that is possible...?" he asked, unsure if those words were right.
"Oh, then I get you are looking for high risk high reward~ you should immediately head toward the 'Rifts' section then, and you should find everything!" she pointed at a specific hallway, with the section name illuminated above with a neon, then quickly went to help the next customer.
'...' Stark sighed, he truly didn't know what to expect, all of this was TOO new for him, and he felt like the more he stayed in this world, the more things he discovered about it.
He immediately headed toward the 'Rifts' section, which also seemed to be the one with the highest amount of people.
And when he emerged on the other side of the hall... he found himself in yet another giant room, maybe even bigger than the lobby?
The first thing that appeared in front of him as he entered a room filled with other classifiers were two blue panels.
[Please choose the rift you want to enter!]
[Warning! Those below recommended level won't be admitted inside of a rift!]
It truly was a weird place... but if it could help Stark level up... then why not?
