Stark went deeper into the hall, many other classifiers talking, and some rare ones even pointing at him for being an anomaly: the barrier clearly stated his level was way too low, yet he still managed to pass somehow thanks to his sheer determination and aura that even it (the barrier) could detect.
And so when he reached the end of the hallway... he finally saw it, a massive purple portal crackling with energy.
It was just there, the area near it corrupted by the remnants of aura that came out of it, and dozens of classifiers were coming in and out like it was nothing.
'Hm...' Stark scratched his chin...
It was the entrance to the [Level 80-90 Rift], and frankly, Stark did NOT know how they managed to bring a rift portal all the way here, but it was indeed useful.
And so Stark with no hesitation whatsoever passed the threshold and yet again had that sensation of being transported somewhere else, it was all too familiar to him, and it meant that he was indeed going inside of a rift.
[Welcome to the 'Strands of Corruption' rift...!]
And so after a few seconds, Stark was finally able to emerge on the other side.
His vision was blurry, but it quickly adjusted as he looked up.
He was standing on gray ground, and beside him were dozens of other classifiers, some already fighting monsters.
"KEN IS DOWN, FUCK!"
"Take that!"
"Haha got him~"
People were doing their own things... and so Stark decided to just go somewhere else.
This rift worked like all the normal others, meaning that the further he went, the harder it would become, and it also meant that there was a chance that the boss was still there if it wasn't already defeated or if it spawned again.
The 'Strands of Corruption' rift was weird, there was only a single area before reaching the boss, which wasn't even that far, maybe that was why it was selected as a rift for training?
The ground was gray, with occasional dark and purple trees that emitted aura, as well as dozens upon dozens of monsters that swarmed the land, other than that, the sky was also just as gray as the land, with no moon/sun or any clouds at all.
It felt... empty, almost as if the once blooming view was now reduced to... nothing.
'The strands of corruption...' Stark thought, for some reason he had a bad feeling, he shouldn't be thinking so much about a simple name, yet here he was.
He had a feeling... that it would be important later.
Just as the man informed Stark, such ELITE monsters don't appear often at all, and it would be at best once every month that they appeared.
When it did happen though, a team of professional classifiers would be dispatched to eliminate the beast so that the rest of the classifiers could return to slaying monsters and gaining levels.
Basically... that thing was super strong, and nobody was willing to risk their lives to eliminate it, even if it was a group of 50 people all uniting their powers.
'This is too convenient...' Stark shook his head, there was absolutely no chance that the moment he entered the rift, some sudden rare event happened.
And of course it wasn't.
Since the moment he turned his gaze back to the beast after witnessing all the classifiers leaving...
[Talent: Chosen One, Activated!]
'Seriously... just how does that thing work, can it bend fucking time and space to cause me trouble?!'
He saw the crimson panel that told him everything he needed to know, and so he just sighed, the beast that was summoned from who knows where already looking around, then its purple eyes falling on the only human left in the land.
Its only available prey was now on sight... and so it took a step toward Stark, its tongue licking its mouth all over, and its sharp teeth already sensing the flesh of the human on them.
'Oh come on...' Stark sighed again, activating [Domination] and positioning himself to fight off the giant ghoul.
He still had absolutely not a single intention to leave this rift today until he was at least level 35, so he might as well get to it now since this monster could probably give him a level or two.
"GRROOOOAAAHHHHH~" the giant ghoul roared, the waves of sound almost visible because of their sheer intensity.
And so... it started running toward Stark, each time its two arms and legs hitting the ground with a force that created shockwaves in the air.
Stark stood his ground, his eyes locked onto the approaching monster, calculating his next move.
That thing was thirty meters tall, and it would be hard to reach its weakness if it had one, so Stark needed to think...

'Hm...' his determination grew stronger the closer the ghoul got.
[FIGHT!]
