Stark stood there for a moment, taking everything in.
He had done it, he had defeated Leader, the one that tried to kill him first, the one that had probably killed Officer as well... he did it.
The body of Leader lay there, his opened eyes void of any life essence, as falling from such a height caused his organs to be crushed, especially since being knocked out deactivated his aura.
"=)" the [Superior Clone] was celebrating by doing random moves, the sadistic smile on its face not disappearing even for a single second, and its white eyes now leaving the corpse.
It was waiting for Stark to do something.
"Sigh..." this was the first time Stark actually killed a human.
The first two times were during a [Deathless] duel, so nobody had truly died, but this time... he had really done it, he was a murderer, even though it was complete self-defense.
But the thing that bothered Stark the most... was that he didn't even care.
"You're dead..." he mumbled as he began walking toward the corpse, "And I didn't feel anything... not even a thrill."
He looked down on Leader, his eyes completely serious and with no mercy visible in them.
Then he crouched down, inspecting the body of Leader.
Of course, he didn't care much to leave it here, as it would surely get eaten or destroyed by the other beasts.
But the thing he REALLY wanted was...
"I knew it..." Stark smiled just as sadistically as his clone, after all that thing had to get its personality from someone, right?
In Stark's hand was a weird spray-like item with some green liquid inside of it.
[Monster Scent: Upon usage, all monsters will ignore you as they recognize you as their own, even if you kill many of them, this lasts ten minutes, one time use]
As expect, Leader was the one that killed Officer, and so Stark was able to get the item since he didn't have anywhere to hide it, and didn't use it beforehand.
"Spatial Inventory," he put the [Monster Scent] right next to his [Revive Token].
But of course, that wasn't all... no... this was only the beginning.
Because...
[A participant has been slain by a player!]
The notification appeared for everyone to read, and it wouldn't be heard to figure out that he was the one who did it since he and Leader had been the only ones left behind... but it didn't matter, he didn't care about that.
Instead... another panel appeared before him, a panel that brought intense pleasure and hope to Stark.
[You have slain 'Leader lv62', gaining 3,492,221 EXP!]
"=)!" it nodded its head and went behind the five cards.
And after a few seconds... it pointed at the one to the far right.
Stark immediately grabbed it, he actually fully trusted his clone since it had no reason to lie, even though it was insanely twisted and evil.
And when he turned the card... he saw the drawing that always represented the skill: this time it was a pair of eyes with the text "EGO" written under them.
Yes, this was all.
"This is the skill you picked?" although this was the first time text was written on one, it was weird his clone picked this one...
"=)" the [Superior Clone] just shrugged as it pointed at a second card.
"...?" weirdly enough, none of the cards disappeared when Stark picked one, usually they would evaporate instantly.
And so...
~FWISH~
All the cards turned at once, revealing that ALL of them had the same drawing.
The white eyes staring at Stark's soul, as well as the 'EGO' text was visible on all of them.
'Does this mean... my choice didn't make a difference to begin with?' Stark wondered, this wasn't logical.
Or maybe...
"Hey, clone, were the drawings different the last time?" maybe his choice didn't matter to begin with, maybe whatever he picked, he would have gotten the same skill...?
But...
"=)" the clone shook its head, meaning that the previous times, the two other drawings were completely different from the one he had picked.
"Phew..." Stark sighed, it would have been pretty sad to know his choice, even though it was luck, didn't matter.
And so he decided to immediately check out this skill, it was the first time five cards appeared, and also the first time each of them had the same skill behind...
So what could it possibly be...?
[Rank: MYTHICAL]
'...!' Stark's eyes widened, a [Mythical] skill all of a sudden?
Of course, Leader also had his own mythical skill, but it was still fairly new for Stark to get something so powerful just like this, and coincidentally when he reached level 50...
No... it couldn't be a coincidence, maybe every [Domination] user would get a mythical skill once they reached level 50.
In the end, it didn't matter much, as he excitedly looked down to read the description.
