Stark reached for the final item of the lot, hoping with all his being that it would be useful in battle to him.
He literally only had two pieces of equipment: the [Purgatory Shadow] which was way too useful and saved his life quite sometimes already, and the [Crystalheart Band] which absorbed 10 percent of damage, pretty useless to be honest as he could die from pretty much anything and the damage removed wasn't even noticeable.
There were probably some [Mythical] equipment pieces that remove up to 90 percent of damage received, this was a certainty, but Stark wouldn't afford or be able to use them anyway.
"COME ON," he swiftly grabbed the dark blue, and in his hands was... a necklace, "Oh."
Immediately, Stark realized what this was.
...
[Item:] Sculk Necklace
[Type:] Necklace
[Class:] Domination
[Tier:] Mythical
[Required Level:] 60
[Quality:] Artifact
[Special Perk:] Ability for the user to use three 'sculk attacks', with a 12 hours cooldown between use.
...
'...!' it was perfect: for the [Domination] class but also within his level range, and also the special perk did seem interesting.
He didn't understand what it meant with 'three sculk attacks', but he could always try it out in the [Memories Museum], couldn't he?
'Ok, now I need to sell the rest and buy that stupid breakthrough stone...' Stark mumbled.
He took a quick shower (he hadn't bathed for three weeks and the black water was actually disgusting), then wore some clothes and went outside.
As expected, rumors and videos of him yesterday spread across the entire city, if not country.
Dozens of videos of him walking and knocking out that classifier with one carefree punch spread like wildfire, people wondering who that mysterious entity (yes, entity, that thing couldn't be human), was.
In the end, Stark hailed for a taxi, someone actually stopping this time, and headed toward the trading district to do everything he needed to do.
He entered the [Classifiers Trading Association] then asked for a 'appraisal room', and was yet again led toward the luxurious rooms.
And so, just like that, he found the item he wanted.
...
[Item:] Breakthrough Stone (Bronze-Level)
[Tier:] Rare
[Quality:] Normal
[Perk:] Increases your skill level from 15 to 25 when you meet the conditions to do so.
[Price:] 6.2 million rher coins
...
"Holy shit, inflation hits hard," there was no way that thing was worth half his fortune.
And yet...
[Do you want to buy it?]
[Y/N]
[This will automatically remove the money from your account using your fingerprints]
[Oh, and by the way, no refunds.]
'Fuck off...' Stark groaned as he clicked on Y, taking the stone from the display as another one appeared right as he did that, 'At least that's done with.'
He had done everything he needed to do, and it was only around 6 am, meaning that he had lots of time in his hands.
'Well, let's get to my hotel room then prepare, what else, it did say that this school would be hell, huh...'
40 minutes later, Stark was back in his hotel room, the stone in his hands, his account full of money, and all his useless items sold.
He was COMPLETELY ready to begin his new chapter in life, and although he knew it would only get more difficult from now on, entering a school with powerful people, and possibly even some hidden [Domination] users, Stark knew that his sheer determination will be enough to overcome all of it.
'Well, anyway,' Stark looked at the 'Breakthrough Stone' in his hands, it was a rune with silver-colored symbols all over it, and the word 'silver' written on some sort of magic circle in the middle, an aura emanating from it, 'Alright.'
He put a lot of his aura inside the stone while holding it, and instantly, a panel appeared.
[Do you want to initiate the breakthrough from bronze to silver?]
