Chapter 326: Chaugnar, The Inquisitor's Servant

As the Moonscorched Inquisitor's bell tolled with a deep, ominous ring, the air around it rippled, growing heavy with the presence of something immense.

The ground trembled, and in the sky above, a hulking figure began to materialize, its outline barely visible at first.

Chaugnar, The Inquisitor's Servant, emerged from the dark rift, its massive body casting a long, terrifying shadow.

Its physique was grotesquely human, with bulging muscles and a towering stature.

Its head, however, was a twisted mass of flesh resembling a woodsman's helmet, but grotesquely deformed, ending in an enormous elephant-like trunk.

Its skin darkened to an unsettling beige as its overalls warped into suspenders and a long, tattered skirt.

Despite its immense power, the most unsettling detail was its bare feet, each one reduced to a single, grotesque toe.

BOOOM!

It landed on the ground, right in front of the Inquisitor.

Stark quickly activated Perception, scanning Chaugnar's stats as they appeared in a status window before him.

...

...

"5 million HP and stats through the roof... This thing's a nightmare," Stark muttered, his voice grim.

The strongest monster he ever faced.

Sora, standing beside him, clenched her fists, her body glowing with a faint aura.

"Well, let's just get Inquisitor and then deal with that thing," Stark proposed as he turned his head toward the commander.

But of course, it wouldn't be easy.

"Master's Shield," Chaugnar immediately activated, and an unbreakable shield appeared around Inquisitor.

[This shield is unbreakable, the only way to release it is to kill Chaugnar, even Heaven's Spear won't break it.]

Sora looked over at Stark, her eyes gleaming with determination, "It's fine, even with all of that, it's not invincible."

Shock snickered, flipping a dagger he summoned out of thunder in his hand. "Just remember who's getting the last hit. This beast is nothing but a stepping stone."

Artist stood silent, observing Chaugnar with cold calculation.

His hand hovered over the air, as though preparing to manipulate the battlefield itself with his brushes.

Without warning, Chaugnar bellowed, a deafening roar that reverberated through the air.

It lifted its massive trunk-like appendage and swung it downward with terrifying speed, the impact shaking the earth.

Sora was the first to charge, her body enveloped in a fiery glow.

She lunged forward with her vines drawn, activating [Vine Surge], sending a wave of spiky vines slicing toward Chaugnar's hulking leg.

The impact was immediate, dealing 200,000 damage and dropping Chaugnar's HP to 4,800,000.

But the creature barely acknowledged the hit, turning its monstrous gaze toward Sora.

Chaugnar retaliated, swinging its enormous arm down with [Crimson Rend], sending a crimson shockwave slicing through the air toward Sora.

Stark moved in a flash, his [Invincible Dodge] activating as he phased through the attack, reappearing in front of Sora.

"Watch it!" he barked, summoning his [Crimson Spears].

Ten blood-red spears materialized around him, and with a sharp motion, he hurled them all toward Chaugnar, each one finding its mark in the creature's torso.

The impact was explosive.

[Behind you.]

Focus warned him, but Stark didn't even have the time to react.

SLAM!

He was sent flying toward a nearby building, crashing into it.

His [Crimson Barrier] tanked all the damage, but it didn't mean he didn't feel pain.

The same happening to all the others, each of them receiving an additional 30,000 damage from it

[Artist: You have been moonscorched.]

And as for Stark and the other two that were already infected...

[Your moonscorch infection increased.]

"That's it! Time to end this!" Stark shouted, his aura flaring to its peak.

"SPEAR OF JUDGEMENT!"

FWISH... BOOM!

The spear hit Chaugnar directly, following it closely like some sort of missile even though it was moving at intense speed.

BOOOOM!

-1,237,293!

Sensing the end, Shock darted forward, his eyes gleaming with excitement.

But Stark was already ahead of him, summoning his [Clone Frenzy].

Five clones materialized around him. Read the latest on мѵʟ

And for the first time since a while, he didn't merge them.

Instead, they launched a synchronized attack.

"Crimson Spears! Aura Smash! Domi-Chain Restrain!"

Two of the clones died in the process, meaning that he wouldn't be able to summon the [Ultimate Clone] for an hour, but it didn't matter.

For in the end...

-349,382! -221,293! -233,291!

Chaugnar let out a final, deafening bellow before collapsing into the ground, its massive form dissolving into dust.

[Chaugnar has been defeated.]

With Chaugnar defeated, the protective barrier around the Inquisitor shattered, leaving him vulnerable.

His eyes widened in terror, his HP displayed at 400,000, a shadow of the fearsome figure he once was.

"It's over," Stark growled, readying his attack.

His crimson energy surged as he prepared to end the Inquisitor once and for all.

But just as Stark was about to strike, Shock appeared out of nowhere, slamming into Stark with a smirk. "Thanks for the setup," he sneered.

Stark staggered back, eyes wide with fury. "You—"

Before Stark could react, Shock was already upon the Inquisitor, his [Thunder Dagger] plunging deep into the Inquisitor's chest.

"ION PULSE (Mythical)"

The Inquisitor gasped, his eyes wide in disbelief as his remaining 400,000 HP drained rapidly from the electric shocks that kept going through him, dropping to zero in mere seconds.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

[Global Announcement: The Moonscorch Commander Inquisitor has been slain by Shock!]

A smirk spread across Shock's face as he twisted the dagger for good measure, stepping back as the Inquisitor's body slumped to the ground, lifeless.

Stark, still recovering from Shock's sneak attack, stared in disbelief, his hands clenched into tight fists.

"That little shit..." Stark growled, fury burning in his eyes.

His entire body trembled with anger as he watched Shock casually wipe his blade, acting as if he hadn't just stolen the kill.

With a cocky grin, Shock looked over his shoulder at Stark, giving a half-hearted shrug. "What? I told you from the start—I'm getting the last hit."
