Volume 1 - CH 12

“Cyclo! Mom fell in love at first sight!”

And Sarina suddenly said at the dinner table.

“…… Eh? What do you mean, Mom?”

Cyclo asks, unable to follow the conversation when suddenly told.

“Cyclo, wasn’t the guy at your workplace a very cool guy? I fell in love with him at first sight!”

“…… Oh, that’s what you meant.”

Indeed, Count Ikkemen was a handsome man. If it was so from Cyclo’s point of view, it must have been the same from Sarina’s point of view.

And – Cyclo is well aware that his mother Sarina is a woman in love.

After all, Cyclo and his sister Alice are only half-blood related.

Their fathers are different. That means – in such a short period of time – she had children with two different men.

It is said that since she was young, Sarina had repeatedly fallen in love with various men, eventually getting bored and falling in love with another man.

Then one day, this resulted in having a child with a traveling adventurer.

But that man had already left Sarina. In other words – even before Cyclo was born, Sarina had already become a single mother.

And not once, but twice, she was pregnant and gave birth to Alice in the same way.

After two births, Sarina has come to reflect on her situation and decides that she will not fall in love again until she has raised her own child well.

But even so, she cannot change her natural disposition. Sarina has been attracted to various men in the past.

Ciclo knows this, and he also understands that she has put up with it for his and Alice’s sake.

Therefore, he also understood that this mother’s love is the first love she has had since she was finally released from the wedge of child-rearing.

“So what are you going to do?”

“I want you to tell me his name first!”

“Starting from there!?”

Indeed, Count Ikkemen did not even give his name to Sarina.

But …… As expected, Cyclo is a bit taken aback by the idea of falling in love with someone whose name she doesn’t even know.

But still, Cyclo thinks it’s wrong to constrain his mother, so he answers honestly.

“…… That man is the Count Ikkemen, a nobleman who just happened to be there that day to see my work. “

“I see. So he’s a nobleman — Then, I guess I’ll start by asking him to hire me as his maid?”

Even after learning that their status was different, Sarina showed no signs of giving up.

Ciclo let out a sigh.

“Huh. ……. Well, do what you want, Mom.”

“Thank you, Cyclo! That’s my boy!”

Thus, Sarina began to formulate a plan on how to swoon Count Ikkemen.

And so — a few days later, Sarina was hired as the Count’s maid.

But to her surprise, all of Count Ikkemen’s maids were live-in workers.

So — Sarina also had to leave her house.

Thus, Cyclo is finally left all alone at home.
