Chapter 31: Beast god II

Ha Joon ran.

All a them were Beast people, panicking as they hid inside their houses, the news of the demi god's escape had spread.

Merlin had tak to the air on her broom, surveying everything from up above. The other elders in the village all assisted Artoria to find the demi god before it moved to the next town.

'Damn, this might actually be the single biggest evt I need...' Ha Joon smiled as he ran, 'System! Now would be a good time to access the knowledge thingy'.

[Understood.]

[Accessing the Knowledge of the gods.]

[The Beast Demigods are three ancit bulls known as The Unstoppable Trio. Each bull possesses immse strgth, and wh they charge, their momtum becomes unstoppable, shattering anything in their path—be it stone, steel, or magic barriers.

Born from the essce of the god Pegula, these bulls were once revered protectors of the Beast people, symbolizing their unyielding spirit.

But after the fall of Pegula, the trio turned to the dark side, turning them into reltless beasts driv only by destruction. To prevt further chaos, they were sealed away in a hidd pit within the Beast people's territory. Warning: Avoid direct confrontation. Their charge is unstoppable and can only be diverted, not halted.]

'I still find it oddly crazy that gods are actually a thing.'

Ha Joon's feet slid on the g as he made a quick stop, his eyes searching every corner.

"But the question is, why exactly did Artoria kill Pegula? And how was she able to kill a god? For that matter, I doubt she has attained Rhongomyniad to achieve such a feat. And she wouldn't kill -- "

He abruptly recalled his first time in the castle, watching her sever the head of a maid.

To cancel the thought, Ha Joon shook his head a bit.

'Doesn't matter, let's find these demigods first, System, map'.

[Red district.]

The system showed Ha Joon the map of the village. Using his eyes, he began to zoom in on every area, trying to see if he could get a sight of these demi gods- and he did.

'Found it!'.

A bull with red ergy suring its body was somewhere at the left side of the village, towards the farm. The other was somewhere not too far from where he was, and the last one was ridiculously close to Artoria.

Something was coming.

The sound of the footsteps got louder, and Ha Joon was ready to counter.

Flames danced a his arm, his gaze fully locked on the right side.

'Come out Papi'.

And th, from where he had expected the demi god he was tracking to show, a small dog beast girl, with a leaf on her head charged out, crying as she ran.

Ha Joon's eyes wided.

A kid? How? He was sure he heard the chief tell all of them to stay in doors? Did this one sneak out of the house?.

Just wh he thought matters couldn't get any worse, the demi god appeared.

Its eyes were glowing red. A fully sized bull with huge horns that could shatter ev the biggest buildings.

It's form charged out of the corner, chasing the girl with so much ergy that ev Ha Joon, who was standing far away could feel the press weighing down on him.

'Shit!'.

Meanwhile, Artoria was gtly walking through the village, a whole group of beast m following behind her.

This wasn't the first time she was facing the demigods, if anything, she was confidt they would come searching for her.

With the every lesser god she had slain, she grew stronger, accessing their authority, Pegula was one of them.

Bearing the title of a god slayer, Artoria could use the authority of any god she kills, killing Pegula granted her the authority to override beast people, meaning, the demi gods were simply at her mercy.

From behind her, a beast man yelled-

"News from Lady Merlin, one of the Demigod is close by!!!".

Before Artoria could turn to make out who had st her the message, the building beside her shattered as one of the demigods charged out of it, accompanied by the screams of the people inside the house.
