Chapter 42: The Prime minister says...

"Well, she lost to a man and now she has agreed to be my bodyguard."

Ha Jooon stood in front of Artoria. Mordred stood behind him like an automated doll, and Yukio, took the other side.

The throne room was empty, with only one woman, standing beside Artoria, piles of paperwork stacked on hand.

"Told you I'd keep my promise." Ha Joon gave a smug look.

Artoria, for a second gave a small smile and th she spoke, "You really are something else, you know that?".

"Don't give me all the credit, I didn't expect her to be so weak." Replied Ha Joon.

Mordred veins popped out from her head in annoyance, but she already made a deal with him, so she had no choice but to control herself.

"I ..see," Artoria smiled yet again, something about the sight in front of her warming her chest.

"And since I have fulfilled my side of the deal, I believe I can now leave the castle, can I not?" Asked Ha Joon.

Artoria felt hesitant at first, "Yes you can, just make sure you're not doing anything reckless".

"Yeah yeah, I've heard. I'll be going now." He turned a, "Don't go slacking off, you have to take care of all the bills I st you, okay?".

"Y-Yes of course, I was working on it." Artoria replied, the apprehsion growing on her face.

"Good, well, buh byeeee".

And with that, he left the room, Yukio and Mordred following behind him.

Once they got outside -

"Yukio, get the carriage ready, we are heading to the farmlands, all the farmlands." Ha Joon issued.

"As you wish."

.....

"Good, the Prime minister would like for you to do these three things I am about to list. One..." Yukio put down one finger, "He wants you to list to every word I say".

The two farmers behind the man gasped a bit.

"Two, he said, and I quote, you tell those lazy bones to clear out every single plant in that waste farm, both ripe and unripe, and store them somewhere in case of food shortage".

"Wait... you want use to-"

"And three." Yukio put down her third finger, "Every adult livestock should be locked inside the main yard, the young one should be freshed up and kept in the stable".

"I'm sorry, miss..."

"Yukio."

"I'm sorry miss Yukio, but we cannot simply harvest every single crop here. My boys put so much hard work into making sure the kingdom has a frequt supply of wheat and corn, can't just ask us to do something like that." Said the old man.

"Is that so? Very well th, since you have decided to not list to me as My master has demanded from you, I shall now return to the capital, and tell Her highness of your shortcomings, you, the overseer of this farm, decided to disrespect her Prime minister".

Yukio was about to turn a wh the old man shouted.

"W..wait, That didn't come out well. Please don't do that!" The man yelled.

"Good, th I advise you get to work, oh, and the seeds you've be hiding and secretly selling to the neighboring towns and kingdom, My master also demanded you package every single one and give them to me". She spoke again.

The fear on the man's face was evidt, that was the face of someone who had be found out, but had no words or any pride to defd themselves.

The old man simply turned to face the two young farmers behind him and whispered, "Get the rest, tell them we have a lot to do, direct orders from the Prime minister".

"H-Hai." They both reluctantly nodded their heads before sprinting away.

The old man sighed, turning his gaze to look at Yukio, and he was immediately greeted with a smile that was both calm and threating.

Somehow, he was unlucky ough to have someone who was so high in power have his eyes on the business he was handling for years.

What was really happing in Camelot? And why was this Prime minister suddly interested in what happs in the farm?.
