"This is the place? Looks way gloomy than I expected." Ha Joon uttered, standing in front of the door, the moonlight glowing in the night sky.

"That maid of yours did say it was a dangerous place, what were you expecting?" Lyra retorted as she stood beside him.

They were both dressed in cloaks and a mask that covered their faces. Ha Joon needed to be here, in disguise.

He made sure not to tell anyone in the palace, including his wife.

Just behind the door, lies the information he needed to know where and how the demi humans were being used.

Thanks to Sinex's impressive talent of gathering information, Ha Joon was able to learn that there was a secret illegal tournament that took place in Telver city. Rich nobles and civilians from all over the country would go there to bet on the fighters, it was basically them paying to watch poor desperate people fight.

Or so most people thought.

_bang bang bang!_

Ha Joon knocked on the door three times. This was how people were able to get in.

A few seconds after the knock, someone's eyes could be seen searching from the hole on the door.

"From where?" Asked the person.

"Long live the Valavos." Ha Joon responded.

"Understood."

The person moved back and the door opened, allowing Ha Joon and his companion to walk in.

Once he was inside, Ha Joon could already hear the noises of people cheering. Probably something to do with the illegal battles.

"You're number 89, have your sit." Said the man as he handed Ha Joon the papers, doing the same for Lyra.

Both of them said nothing, they simply took hold of the paper and went to their seat, after paying some money that would later be used to bet on whoever they wanted.

The place was huge, almost the same as two royal bedrooms. At the centre of the arena, was a steel cage where fighters were supposed to stay and battle.

As Ha Joon walked in, he began to pick up the faces of the people around him. To his surprise, a lot of them were nobles he recognised, some were even knights and royal escorts. Though their faces were hidden under the mask, his eyes were as clear as that of a god.

Seating down on his chair, close to the very front of the area, he watched as a woman wearing a mask walked up to the centre stage.

"Are you sure this is the right place, master? These people just look like regular people." Lyra whispered.

"For now." Ha Joon focused on the scene before him.

"Ladies and gentlemen from far and wide!!! Welcome to the underground!!!" The woman spoke through the mic.

This was something Ha Joon and his squad had recently invented, it was truly surprising to see it in a place like this- there was no doubt someone working within his faction was here too.

"Sorry to inform you, but we faced a bit of issues bringing in new fighters! Worry not! As the boss has said to turn today into a Raging day!!!"

**Yahhhhhh!!!**

The people cheered again.

"Master what is that?" Lyra asked.

"Ahhhh!"

"Rip him apart!"

The moment the beasts were free, the participants would step out of the cage, and watch as their slaves fought for them.

The beast man would fight one another to the death, it was like they had no mind of their own.

They were mindless zombies being pulled around with strings rather than fighting for survival. Limb by limb they teared each other apart in an effort to win the pointless battle.

Eventually, one side gave up... The wolf beast man fell to the ground, covered in his own blood as his life slipped away from his body.

"Number 2 won!!!"

The whole place went wild with cheers.

Ha Joon and Lyra could only watch with disgust as the dead body of the wolf was being thrown inside a bag and dragged out of the cage.

"Next contender! Number 4!!!"

Another participant came out to battle that last winner.

'This looks easy on paper, I can't say the same when I step into the cage. Looking at this wolf girl, I can't tell if she can actually hold her own in a battle. Should I just return her and get another one?' Ha Joon thought to himself as he looked at the wolf girl.

He knew after number 4 he was next, having a beast man that could probably die in the first round would be a total waste of his time. To get the information he needs, winning every battle is a given.

[Ciel has a solution.]

'Let it out then.'

[There's a new app available on your app list. The name (Subordinate.) it lets you add your subjects and actively upgrade their stats.]

'Uhn? Since when have I had this app?' Ha Joon was flabbergasted.

[You have a lot of helpful and useful apps, you never once requested for them and I didn't bring them up.]

'Geeez, how does this work?'

[The app needs 230 Ep to download, and once downloaded you register the wolf girl under your it. Once the link is successful, you can upgrade her skills by adding any requirements and buffs you can afford.]

'This is just like the way I did Excalibur, interesting. Not like I have any choice, in any case, there's no going back. Ciel.'

[Ciel is here.]

'Download the Subordinate app.'

[Understood.]

[Ciel will now download the Subordinate app.]

[230 Ep has been deducted from your balance.]

[The app has been downloaded.]

[A\\N: If I fail to get any interaction on this chapter, I'll end the book early. But I swear my next work will be better...I promise!]
