Popular High School Student is Kind

Thanks to Eihashi-San, albeit still reflecting on her mistake, Misaki has recovered her cheerfulness to some extent.

Well, in exchange, now there’s no doubt in Eihashi-san’s mind that I am Kamishiro Kousei.

Misaki raised her face and asked Eihashi-san a question.

“…..I have never met another person who knows that Onii-Chan is a model so can I ask what kind of relationship Reika-san has with Onii-Chan…..?”

“I am just Hiura-kun’s classmate from school you know. Umm, Hiura-kun lives alone right? Hiura-san? Did you come to the city for some business?”

“Uhh, I thought that I should try getting into Onii-Chan’s high school so I came to attend the open house. Also, calling us Hiura-kun and Hiura-san must be very confusing right. It’s okay to call me Misaki.”

I thought the same. Even if she differentiated us with -kun or -san, there are times that people call me with -san as well so it’s pretty confusing.

This way it will be easier for us to communicate and it must have been hard for Eihashi-san to keep calling us with a minimal difference too.

“Then I am going to call you Misaki-san……since you are planning to attend the same school as Hiura-kun that would make you my future Kouhai-Chan after all.”

“That sounds nice. I’ve been calling you Reika-san from the beginning after all! A school that has Onii-chan and a beauty like Reika-san. I think such a school is worth studying hard for!”

“No, I’m not that……..”

Eihashi-san was being humble but I still haven’t forgotten what she emphasized on earlier so I will take a small revenge here.

“Eihashi-san is so popular at school that people call her the transcendental beauty you know. Well, just like you said earlier, I usually have my hair down at school so I’m not popular at all though.”

“Wha, Hi, Hiura-kun? I’m not!”

“I know. Eihashi-san can be mischievous and you are a hard-working person that took first place on the test through your effort alone right? But your reputation still holds true you know.”

“Auuu……..I can’t………”

When I repeatedly pointed out her good points, Eihashi-san turned her face away from me.

“Well, even if you say that……I was just stating the truth though…….”

“…….so it’s like that huh.”

When I heard Misaki muttering something to herself, she made her way to Eihashi-san and whispered something to her in a small voice.

After that, Eihashi-san’s expression completely changed. Just what did she whisper to her…….

After their talk seems to be over, Misaki made her way back to me with a grin on her face.

“Hmm, I see.”

“It’s not like that okay!? It’s not like that at all!”

“Nn? What?”

“It’s a secret Onii-chan! Please don’t worry! I understand!”

“You don’t!”

It seems that there’s a secret between the two of them and I got completely left out.

“Well, if you get along so well, why don’t you ask Eihashi-san to pick something for you?”

“That’s a good idea! Can you? Reika-san!?”

“Yes. Please let me choose something for you.”

“I did it! Then wait over there okay, Onii-chan! I will call you over when we are done!”

“Alright. I’m going to wait on the bench outside okay.”

With that said, Misaki pulled Eihashi-san’s hand and they went deep into the store. Just like I said earlier, I seated myself at the bench in front of the store.

I didn’t expect to meet Eihashi-san here and even though it was because of Misaki, I ended up troubling her again.

I guess I will have to pay back her kindness in the near future…….should I make it up for her with something at the festival?

I don’t think Eihashi-san is the type that wants something in return when she helps someone. In fact, I think she’s simply being a good person.

……By the way, I think I have talked about this debt and favor things before but I guess that was with Suzuka huh.

Since I recently got involved with a lot of people, I think I will have to be careful about what I say now.

Until recently, the only person I talked to was Masato so it was enough if I just give him some excuses when I’ve to go to work.

Apparently, a long time had passed when I was thinking to myself and the two came out to the storefront with a basket full of clothes.

“We are done choosing, Onii-Chan! Check it out!”

“Come on, cute clothes fit you very well already Misaki. Moreover, with Eihashi-san choosing them for you…….”

“……..Hiura-kun, what are you trying to say?”

“I mean you have good taste. Yup, skirt, and shirt, it even has thin long sleeves, it’s all good right?”

“If that’s what you mean…….”

Eihashi-san reacted weirdly to the word cute but I meant it as a compliment though.

She seemed to have chosen two sets of clothes for Misaki but it looks like she chose with interchangeability in mind.

By combining with the clothes Misaki already has, she will have 9 combinations to wear.

She did something that I would find hard so smoothly. Well, that is as expected of her……

“Then I’m going to the cash register okay.”

“Eh? Onii-Chan, those are my clothes you know!?”

“Don’t say it like I stole yours. I came with you today, of course, I’m going to buy them for you.”

I understand what she meant but others might misunderstand the situation.

“Eh, but those are pretty expensive right!”

“Come on, just what do you think my job is for…….”

The person who knows best about clothing price here is me. That being said, I don’t really spend much on clothes since I always received some from work.

“That’s true but…..I also brought some pocket money to buy those you know…….”

“Middle schooler can’t work part-time so it must be hard to save up right? Don’t be reserved.”

“……I understand, thank you Onii-Chan!”

“Will Hiura-kun and Misaki-chan immediately go back after this?”

“Well, we have some luggage now too….what do you want to do?”

“It’s almost lunchtime so how about we go grab something to eat?”

Looking at my watch, it is indeed almost past noon.

“Then what do you want to eat? Also, since you made friends with Misaki, do you want to come with us, Eihashi-san”

“Is that okay? If you are fine with me then by all means.”

“Yeah! Let’s go! The restaurants are on the basement floor right!?”

“Yeah. Well, let’s go.”
