Juumonji Takeru

I have had some strange dreams lately so I often can’t get enough sleep.

That’s why I have been spending my days sleep-deprived for a while now.

“Hideyori-kun, you look sleepy……”

“Well, aren’t you the same though……”

To my surprise, Emi who’s walking beside me seems to be sleep-deprived as well.

It’s unusual since Emi normally goes to sleep around 9 pm.

“I had a strange dream last night.”

“A strange dream? Like R-18 stuff?”

“18?”

“……it’s fine if you don’t know.”

I couldn’t get rid of my vulgar talking habit from my conversation with the boys and other guys in my previous life so I often slip up. It’s good that Emi doesn’t understand them though.

Even so, since she’s also subjected to some strange influence from her mom, I’m actually scared that the inside of her head might be dyed pink someday.

“For some reason when I woke up this morning, I was crying you see.”

“Eh? Are you okay?”

“U, Un, I’m glad you’re worried about me.”

“Of course I am.”

I was watching a horror show yesterday so that might have an effect on her sleep after all.

“Do you remember what the dream was about?”

“I don’t remember much but…..I think I was drowning in the river.”

“River?”

I recall Emi’s fate in the Risa route.

“Also, I think I saw someone who looked like Juumonji-kun too. Ah, but he looked a lot older than Juumonji-kun though.”

“……”

Eh?

Isn’t that the same dream I had?

Is this going to be okay?

“And…….a scary demon came out too.”

“A demon…..?”

“When that demon ordered me to do something, I couldn’t go against him……when I was drowning in the river, scary thoughts like [Unforgivable, I will kill him] kept coming up in my head too…….”

“……..stupid, a scary dream like that, just forget all about it!”

I lightly chop Emi’s head to stop her from thinking more about the dream.

“That hurt you know…….”

“It’s still better than letting you mull over a scary dream all day right.”

“You’re right! Thank you Hideyori-kun! I’m fine now!”

“……”

Can I still distance myself from her……..

I never expected that Emi would be affected and even see a scene like that in her dream……..

“I really am a terrible guy huh……..”

If I didn’t remember my previous life, the future we saw could really happen.

When I think about that possibility, I just couldn’t stop shaking…..

In fact, I might not even be qualified to be talking with Emi like this huh……

“Come on Nii-san, you’re always asking me the same thing.”

“But dad and mom are worried about you, you know. I wonder if she’s making any friends, they said.”

On our way to school, we spotted the Juumonji siblings doing their usual brocon-siscon exchange.

Seeing the two, Emi whispers to me.

“Juumonji-kun’s little sister is absolutely in love with him isn’t she.”

“What, so you noticed it too?”

“Juumonji-san has the same eyes as me after all!”

“Like the same color?”

“No, it’s not like that…….I mean her eyes when she’s looking at a man.”

“Her eyes when she’s looking at a man……..”

So….., this is that right!?

Emi is in love!

And the one she’s in love with is……TAKERU!

I see, they have the same eyes because they are liking the same person huh.

Do your best Emi!

It might be difficult for you since Risa and Takeru have their own route while you don’t have one though.

As expected of a galge protagonist, the man sure is popular.

“Do your best! I will be cheering you on, Emi.”

“Really!?”

“Ahh, but Risa would be a powerful rival so I will make sure to praise you a lot in front of Takeru okay. Emi is cute so I’m sure that you will be perfect for Takeru too.”

“No need!”

“S, Sorry……”

I see, so she wants to make Takeru look her way without my help huh.

You’ve got guts Emi!

Even though your face still looks like a child’s, I admire your courage.

“Fufu. C, cute he said……, it’s nothing Hideyori-kun!”

“Ah, yes.”

What kind of route it will be between Takeru and Emi I wonder.

As a fan of [Breaking the Chain of Sadness], it’s kind of like a secret route so I want to see it!

“So, what are you two doing flirting with each other first thing in the morning?”

“Oh, morning Takeru.”

Since I’ve already made contact with him, I will just get along with him.

He’s the main character of the game I like so I’m actually curious about what kind of Ending Takeru will head toward.

Even if I made fun of him as the useless protagonist, it’s not like he’s on the same level as a trash character like Hideyori the scumbag best friend after all.

“Hey, Takeru.”

“What?”

I pulled him away from Emi and Risa to have a man-to-man talk with him.

“Emi is aiming for you, man! This is your chance!”

“Ha?”

“It’s your job as a man to accept her feeling right!”

I gave Takeru a push.

Emi told me to not do it but I still want to see Emi being happy.

Even if she thinks of me as a busybody, her happiness is still more important to me after all.
