Sasaki Emi’s Love Analysis

The childhood friend I’m so proud of.

Hideyori Akechi is very popular.

“Hey, Tsugaru? What do you think?”

“Don’t ask me. Why would I ever have an opinion about that embarrassing stuff.”

Outwardly, Madoka doesn’t seem to get along with Hideyori-kun.

Still, sometimes I see the two of them secretly talk to each other.

When I ask Hideyori-kun about what they talked about, he always says [It’s just about something we both like], but when I ask Madoka, she would say [There’s something that Akechi-kun has to do.]

It’s strange that their answers were different.

Besides, if it’s truly about [Something Hideyori-kun has to do] then……

It’s just sad that he didn’t come to me……

“StarChild is real amazing isn’t she! Her singing is out of this world!”

“Right, Right. I’m glad that you became her fan too, Risa.”

“It’s too weird that she’s still relatively unknown even though she’s that good right!”

“Don’t worry, she’s still a budding idol. It’s just a little while ago that she made her debut you know. She will definitely be big in the future.”

Risa-chan seems to have become addicted to an idol due to Hideyori-kun’s influence.

I heard that it came to this when she went to consult Hideyori-kun about Juumonji-kun.

Rather than Juumonji-kun, isn’t she getting closer to Hideyori-kun now!?

Instead of chatting about idols with Juumonji-kun, she’s totally doing that with Hideyori-kun right now isn’t she.

“I’m in the middle of improving my coffee so that you will finally admit that it’s delicious. We will hold the 37th Youth-killing coffee game!”

“The taste of Sakuya’s coffee is getting close to Master’s lately so it’s actually tough for me now you know…….”

“But you still managed to guess the correct answer 36 times in a row right! I will keep trying until your childish tongue yields to me.”

“F~ine.”

“Yeah! I did it!”

I’m absolutely certain that Sakuya-chan also likes Hideyori-kun.

Moreover, she’s been inviting Hideyori-kun to her coffee shop a lot lately.

He wasn’t at home at all.

Hideyori-kun is dense so he doesn’t know how Sakuya-chan is feeling about him though.

Still, it is exactly because how he’s not conscious of her that he will be extra sensitive once he realizes her feelings.

Right now, he’s probably looking at Sakuya-chan like a younger sister……..

And that probably extends to Risa-chan and me as well. (The point here is that Madoka is the only one he doesn’t see like a little sister.)

Sakuya-chan is first in terms of physical distance.

Risa-chan’s also in a good position as his best friend’s little sister.

Madoka on the other hand is the first one Hideyori-kun sees as a woman.

And that brings us to the ultimate one.

“If it boils down to a choice between a woman who I don’t like at all and a man I get along with huh. Well, I would definitely choose the man! What about you Hideyori?”

“Come on, I can’t just make that kind of decision on the fly right!?”

“That means you would totally go with the man right!”

When I first said that I was tied to Hideyori-kun by the red string of fate, this man came out of nowhere and said that his meeting with Hideyori-kun was fate!

If Hideyori-kun really ends up choosing Juumonji-kun then I don’t think I will ever be able to recover you know!

Anyway, that man is also weirdly popular.

Risa-chan told me that she likes Juumonji-kun so I didn’t mark her as a rival but aren’t you getting too close with Hideyori-kun lately!?

“Ahhh…., middle school is so tough…….. My middle school memory was the worst.”

“Wait, shouldn’t you use present tense here?”

“Well, I guess…….”

Sometimes,……….. it feels like Hideyori-kun is much older than me.

I’ve known Juumonji-kun and Risa-chan for a long time and I felt how much they’ve grown.

But I don’t feel that way about Hideyori-kun at all.

I’m not making fun of him either.

Ever since the first time we met, it just felt like Hideyori-kun’s self was already complete.

Usually, children would level up.

Going to school, having new encounters, and parting ways with others, those things gradually increase your level.

But I don’t see him do that at all.

It’s too strange that it felt like he already reached the level cap from the beginning.

But that’s just how amazing Hideyori-kun is!

I wonder why he used [Studied] rather than [Study] here?

I just felt like there was a hidden nuance to his words.

When I started to feel impatient about my situation, I was suddenly called out by a classmate who I have never talked with before.

A beauty that I wouldn’t feel weird if she actually appeared in the games Hideyori-kun likes.

She has excellent grades, excellent looks, and is the center of attention of our classmates.

She’s the exact kind of person that Hideyori-kun would definitely like isn’t she?

I’ve never seen her having any contact with Hideyori-kun though.

Being the short and plain girl that I am, standing next to her made me think about how unfair this world is.

“Sasaki-chan, you are super cute!”

Somehow, I sensed a storm approaching.

Just like my first meeting with Madoka, it felt like this encounter will make a drastic change in my relationships again…….

And for some reason, I’m getting a serious case of Deja Vu.
