Tanikawa Sakuya wants to show her Gratitude

Eien-chan invited me out.

It was a heart-stirring event.

However, if I fail to save her, Eien-chan might become someone obsessed with studying like in the original story.

If that happens, not only will it destroy Eien-chan but it will also lead to one of my death flags.

Besides, the word ‘date’ can be pretty deceiving. I’m sure that there will be a lot of trouble-happenings in this outing of ours.

That’s why I’m currently flipping through a romance advice magazine in the library to prepare myself.

“…………….”

[Be there early, don’t let the woman wait] such advice was in the magazine.

I immediately engraved it into my heart.

“Gu~~ess who.”

“……….”

I can’t see anything.

My eyes are being covered.

“O~i, Hideyori? Gu~~~ess who.”

“………..”

I can’t see anything.

I can’t keep reading.

“Fufufu, I’m covering Hideyori’s eyes! Now, guess who I am.”

I can’t see.

Did I go blind?

“Don’t ignore m~~~e……..! Guess who I am! I’m begging yo~~~~~u.”

I can’t see.

Also, it’s getting noisy.

“I’m sor~~~~~ry Hideyori! Forgive m~eeeeeeee!”

“Keep your voice down, we’re in a library……..”

When the hands were removed from my eyes, the figure of the half-crying Tanikawa Sakuya hugging me came into view.

A member of the library committee and some students are glancing our way as well.

I quietly apologize for bothering them and peel Sakuya off me.

“Good grief. So, are you already doing okay today?”

“Yeah! Because of you, Hideyori! Thank you”

“Don’t worry about it.”

The guilt’s going to kill me if she keeps thanking me when I used her as a test subject for my Gift after all.

“S, So……., I want to show my gratitude for that.”

“Gratitude?”

“Y, Yeah! This Saturday! Can you come to my place this Saturday?”

“This Saturday huh………”

I already have a plan to go out with Eien-chan.

Her timing’s a little bad. If she had asked me 10 minutes earlier then I would be free……

“I have something to do on that day.”

“Eh…….?”

Sakuya looks at me with tearful eyes.

I’m begging you, don’t deal any more direct damage to my conscience…….

“I’m free on Sunday though…….”

“Master will be busy on Sunday…….I’ve already invited everyone……., but you won’t be there huh……”

“Everyone?”

What everyone? She probably invited people out for karaoke or bowling huh.

I feel bad……..

“Sorry, Hideyori……”

“No, I’m the one who should apologize. Sorry I can’t be there.”

“Well, it’s fine! Next time I will invite you first! Make sure you open up your shcedule for me next time okay!”

“Sure.”

I’m curious about what Sakuya’s planning to do on Saturday but I decided not to ask.

I wouldn’t want something like [As I thought, let’s give up my date with Eien-chan and hang out with Sakuya instead] to cross my mind.

That said, as a big fan of Eien-chan, giving up the chance to go on a date with her is just impossible for me though.

On a side note, this is the first time that my plans overlap on Saturday, I guess I should put more thought into my holiday plans from now on huh. Such was the lesson I learned today.
