Juumonji Risa is Stormy

The next morning after our encounter with StarCha, Risa was fuming.

Meeting StarCha privately, casually chatting, and even getting an autographed photo with her would be something that all her fans long for. All three of us felt so guilty that we couldn’t face Risa directly.

“………Takeru, you knew this would happen and you still told Risa?”

“You assume that I can ever keep a secret from her?”

“Like hell I know.”

“You’re too sly, Akechi-kun! Sneaking off and meeting StarCha like that!”

Risa has been like this since we met this morning.

There’s no way around it. Let’s try finding something to distract her.

“By the way, did you guys see the sumo match yesterday? That slap though!”

“Yeah, that slap was insane.”

“That slap looked like it hurt.”

“Since when have you guys had any interest in sumo!? You can’t trick me just by repeating slap this slap that alright!? Don’t try changing the subject.”

My attempt was foiled in an instant……

“A-KE-CHI-KU–N! I’m holding a grudge okay. Why didn’t you call me too!? I wanted to see StarCha with her hair down too you know.”

“That’s what you’re angry about?”

“Of course!”

Risa won’t give it up.

It’s been more than 6 years since we first met but this is the first time I see her anger lasting this long.

“Risa is stormy today isn’t she.”

“Did something happen?”

“This is rare.”

“Good morning! Senpais.”

Sakuya, Eien-chan, Madoka, and Madoka joined up with us on our way to school.

Everyone took notice of Risa’s mood.

“………Akechi-kun didn’t invite me.”

“I haven’t been invited either though……”

“When Emi showed up yesterday, I thought that she was StarCha for a second you know.”

“Ahh, that sure gave us a surprise huh. My head went Sasaki = StarCha for a moment too.”

Takeru and I talked about our tense moment yesterday.

“Eh? You think I am that cute?”

“Hmmm…….that’s some convenient interpretation huh.”

“What did you say!?”

“Now, calm down guys.”

I stepped in between Sakuya and Emi.

Quarreling is no good.

“But Emi-san did get to cook for StarCha right!?”

“I personally can’t consider that cooking though……”

Emi showed up by pure coincidence yesterday after all…….

Normally, my aunt would probably be the one in charge of that.

“Cooking? StarCha? What are you guys talking about?”

“Yesterday StarChild visited my house and Emi made lunch for her.”

“What!? Really!? What did you make for her, Emi!?”

“That’s what you’re curious about!?”

Sakuya was focusing on what Emi cooked but Eien-chan and the others went [Eh? StarCha visited you!?] in surprise.

“Hideyori-senpai!? Why didn’t you call me!”

.

And with Nodoka being another big fan of StarCha, we are getting the same situation as Risa.

“StarCha…….”

“StarCha.……”

.

.

The two looked clearly depressed.

For some reason, it felt like I did something I should really feel guilty about.

“Don’t be so down guys. Let’s all go sing some StarCha’s songs at the karaoke after school.”

“Is doing that even worth anything……..?”

“I’m going to be CoffeeChild so you can call me CoffeeCha okay.”

“That sounds so lame…….”

“I’m going to make my singing debut alright.”

Sakuya, the self-proclaimed CoffeeChild, suddenly got all enthusiastic about this karaoke trip.

“Nodoka and Risa are going to debut too.”

“I’m debuting as [NODOKA] then.” (TLN: In Alphabet)

“Then I’m going to be [LiS]……”

“Hold your horses.”

“I want to see a 3-girl group with CoffeeChild though.”

“………..”

.

Eien-chan’s eyes started to sparkle as she looked forward to seeing a girl group consisting of Sakuya, Nodoka, and Risa.

“Everyone is so free-spirited huh……”

.

.

With an appropriate retort from Madoka, we started our day.

The fact that StarCha came to my house yesterday felt like it was in the distant past now.

TLN: CoffeeChild legit sounds like some cafe mascot though….
