The Mysterious Girl

In the end, we all decided to buy a clock that Risa chose for Takeru.

I was told that he was so happy about it that he went to put it up in his room immediately.

At a later date, Madoka got back to us after that awkward moment. The only thing she said was [I’m sorry about that.]

I still have no clue what it was all about but I decided not to ask.

The days went by like this and before I knew it, I fully became a high school student.

It was like a blink of an eye but now we’re at the beginning of [Breaking the Chain of Sadness].

“Your Gift…… honestly, I was hoping that you don’t have it………”

“I’m sorry……..”

For nearly two years since the result of my Gift Aptitude Test came out, I’ve seen how my aunt reacted.

Just like Master, it can’t be helped that Oba-san doesn’t think positively about Gifts in general since she knows what my father did.

I didn’t tell her what my Gift actually is and lied that I don’t know what it can do.

Still, she may have suspected that Uncle’s change was due to my Gift just like how Master did.

After being rocked on board the train I usually do not take for a while, the 5th Gift Academy finally came into view.

Well, we share the same class in the game so I think it will probably be okay though.

We all ended up in the same class.

Yamamoto took the exam and entered the same school as us.

All three of Yamamoto’s group ended up in different schools but I get the feeling that they will keep sticking together anyway.

Although my knowledge of the game is limited, I think I can say that the development so far is still the same.

The school building even looks just like it did in the game too.

And one among them would end up with our own useless Siscon-Dragon protagonist.

Since the first game, there has been a mysterious girl who would appear in front of Takeru and mock him.

Everything from the name above the message window to the game’s official site only described her as [Mysterious Girl].

The brown-skinned goddess who’s donning a black hood.

She has long gray hair and looks like a small girl whose height is about 130cm which is practically the height of an elementary schooler.

Her identity is none other than Ennoia, the annoying Goddess who scatters Gifts to the world.

And Ennoia whose name stemmed from the Greek word meaning [Concept] is the big bad in the [Breaking the Chain of Sadness] series.

[[……..Hou, how interesting. I tried touching your soul but…….this is a first. It seems the one who I bestowed my Gift to was you but not you at the same time huh.]]

[[So there’s a mortal like you too huh? A human with two souls……… Kuha, KuHaHaHahaHa!]]

That I have two souls inside me.

In other words, one is the soul of Toyotomi Mitsuhide and another is that of Akechi Hideyori…….

In an instant, her figure disappeared as though someone turned off the image on the projector…….
