Cain’s hair grew down to his waist and only presented the airs of an aristocrat. After enduring a cold dinner atmosphere, he went back to his room and sat on his sofa.
On top of the low table was the guidance information for the Royal Aristocratic Academy of Siriyum. Its arrival was arranged to occur during dinner.
Cain glared at the document annoyed. After a while of this, he conceded that he couldn’t erase the document with my eyes, and with a sigh, he gave up and picked up the document.
“Did you hear?”
“I heard from Mr. Wayne.”
Ilvalino did not ask about what he meant. It seemed that he had asked the butler about Cain studying abroad. He placed a cup of tea out of the way of the documents.
Cain waved for Ilvalino to sit as he moved to stand behind him. So instead, Ilvalino sat on the sofa facing Cain.
Without saying anything Cain read the document. He gave a deep sigh then with a thud threw the documents on the low table. He took both of his hands and placed his head inside them and put his elbows on his knees and dropped his head.
“Ilvalino I have a favor to ask. I can’t stand to be away from Dianna so please look after her while I am gone.”
As Cain muttered those words Ilvalino stood up from the sofa.
“What are you talking about? Hasn’t it been decided that I am going with you.”
“Ilvalino you are staying here. I leave Dianna to you.”
“I don’t want to. You said I would be by your side, didn’t you? Cain, you had said that I am your right-hand man and to lend me your strength. You said we would face every challenge together. Let’s go together.”
Ilvalino went around the low table, kneeled next to Cain on the sofa, and peered into his face. He couldn’t read the expression on his face because his palms were covering his face.
“You can’t Ilvalino. The Royal Aristocratic Academy of Siriyum requires all students are in dormitories with only two people per room. I cannot bring my chamberlain with me.”
“It’s a school for aristocrats, isn’t it? That is stupid.”
Cain had read the school’s policy in the guide paperwork. It had also said that the minimum number of employees were staffed at the dorm, if you had something you needed to be taken care of you can ask, but it was requested that requests be kept at a minimum since they were not full-time.
The gist is that at graduation before becoming an adult and you will be able to say, “I did it on my own.” It is written that it does not make sense to hire people to do work that can be down on your own.
Cain came from a family with a disciplined background, but there seem to be students who were not able to correct their behavior without being placed in a dormitory situation where they were denied their chamberlains.
“Please. Please, Ilvalino. There is no one I can ask but you. Please look after Dianna. I don’t know what I will do otherwise.”
“It has already been arranged you don’t need to cry.”
Cain raised his head at Ilvalin’s words, and though his eyebrows were drawn in anguish he smiled.
“When did you decide this?” [Read this novel and other amazing translated novels from the original source at the “Novel Multiverse dot com” website @ novelmultiverse.com]
“A little while ago…”
He looked down at the face of Ilvalino, gripped his cheeks with both hands, then rubbed his red hair excitedly. When he lowered his hands, he gripped both of Ilvalino’s cheeks again which forced his lips up into a smile. Then he lowered his forehead to Ilvalino’s affectionately.
“Make a place where Dianna can go to take a break from being a lady.”
“I can’t do the stretch exercises and the round and round exercises like you Cain.”
“Please listen to the many adventures she will have each day.”
“Mr. Cain, I suggested she write letters to you, please make sure to reply.”
“Compliment Dianna when she succeeds in something or overcomes an obstacle.”
“She will be writing you letters with this news, so please make sure to write her a letter full of compliments.”
“Dianna has become stronger, and she can hit with all her might, but even so she is still just a girl. Please protect Dianna.”
“If it is that, I can also do that.”
Cain laughed quietly with his forehead still pressed to Ilvalino’s.
“Please send me letters on how Dianna is doing.”
“I can’t do it every day…”
“Stop the wedding engagement talks for Dianna if they come up.”
“To the crown prince?”
“Excluding Arundilano. Prevent Dianna from deciding on an engagement partner until I come back.”
“I don’t know if that is within my power…but I will try. Just don’t expect too much. I will write you when such a thing happens so hurry up and return.”
Cain sat back and released Ilvalino’s cheeks from his grasp. Ilvalino rubbed his forehead then walked back around the low table to sit on the opposite sofa.
“I will ask my father to be placed under Ilvalino’s care. Even if my father doesn’t agree I will ask Parepantle. Then I will ask Dianna. You are the only one I can entrust with her care.”
“That’s just Dianna. What about you Mr. Cain?”
Ilvalino’s eyes were serious as he looked across the low table at Cain. Cain with his back on the sofa began to laugh, the force of his laugh was so strong he doubled over and fell to the ground weak with laughter.
“I will be fine. I had Ilvalino doing everything for me, but I can do things on my own.”
In his past life, Cain’s life was like a middle-aged woman. He cooked for himself, did the laundry, cleaning, and changed his clothes all by himself. It was true that some of the clothes required some ingenuity, but it wasn’t like it couldn’t be done.
Some of the more cleverly designed woman’s dresses couldn’t be worn on their own but luckily Cain was a man.
“I can do it alone.”
Ilvalino looked at Cain with a troubled expression. He gently shook his head from side to side, shrugged his shoulders, and muttered,
“Without me, you couldn’t even tie your hair right.
