His home was still the same. It was empty and big, so it was unknown when he came home last time. The cold air was still blowing and it was still a little cold.
Jiang Wenshu was carrying a 1.85 meter tall man on his back and was dragging him along. Since he couldn't turn on the lights, he had no choice but to bring him into the bedroom in the dark.
She didn't know what she knocked on on the road. There was a "dong" sound and she didn't feel any pain. It probably wasn't her, it was Fu Yuan. She stopped. There was a wall in front of her and she accidentally hit a switch on the wall.
The one who hit the object was Fu Yuan. In front of him was a stool, and somehow, the stool was placed in the middle of the road. She moved it a bit, and it was pretty heavy, so she squatted down to check where he was hit by the stool.
Her pants were rolled up to her knees, revealing a bruise. She rubbed it on her palm and asked, "Does it hurt?"
He half opened his eyes and shook his head.
"Do you have any medicine at home?"
Fu Yuan pointed. "Look in the cabinet."
Jiang Wenshu looked for the medicine he was pointing to. There was a small medicine box inside the cabinet. She opened it, and according to the name of the medicine, found the one she needed and applied it on him.
The room was completely silent, so quiet that only the sounds of each other's breathing could be heard. She helped him apply the medicine, and just as he was about to stand up, a shadow suddenly fell on top of his head.
"Yu An."
She took two deep breaths and her heart started beating faster. The pain at the back of her head was excruciating, causing her to fall down. The marble floor was cold and hard, so she couldn't pull her hand away.
Breathing heavily next to her ear, she struggled to pull out one of her arms and pushed his shoulder. "Get up!"
His breathing was steady and regular. Obviously, he had fallen asleep.
The person on her body weighed 1.85 meters and was at least 150 kilograms. As she fell down, she did not spare any effort to endure the weight and gradually lost her breath. She tried to move to the side and get out of the room, but Fu Yu An suddenly flipped over and the weight suddenly disappeared.
It had been a waste of her energy, so she didn't know how to turn around.
She got up from the ground, first massaging her head, then touching a soft bulge. It still hurt a bit, but she couldn't be bothered with herself. She kneeled on the ground to help Fu Yunan up, "Don't sleep on the floor, go back to your bedroom."
He didn't react. Lying on the ground, his chest was moving up and down, and his face was flushed.
When he was tired, he sat down on the floor to rest. After resting, he went to the bedroom and took out a blanket and made a bed on the floor, then pulled Jiang Wangshu's blanket over him and laid him on it. He then put a pillow under his head and took two blankets and covered Jiang Wangshu's body with one blanket while he curled himself up on the sofa to cover the other.
The back of her head hurt like a needle. She couldn't just lie there with the pillow under her neck and the back of her head empty. Her mind was in a mess as she fell asleep.
After they had both gone to sleep, the room became even quieter.
Fu Yuan slept well, but not for long. When he woke up, it was only six in the morning. He sat up and found himself sleeping on the floor. There was one lying on the sofa with a frown.
He still had an impression of what happened last night. He remembered that she sent him back, but he couldn't remember clearly the rest of it. For example, how he slept on the ground.
It was six o'clock, still early, and he lay down again with the blanket and reached over and touched her hand on the sofa. It was the same hand that had rubbed his belly last night, as if it really were magic.
His fingertips crept up the back of her hand and touched it.
The person on the sofa moved, but he didn't wake up. He came back late last night and spent half a day with Fu Yuan. He was tired and sleepy, so he really shouldn't have woken up at this point.
The clock on the wall was silent, the needle pointed to seven, and Yu An tiptoed to his feet and showered. When he came out at seven-thirty, he did not blow his hair for fear of waking her, but hung the towel around his neck and went to the kitchen to rummage through the refrigerator.
The ingredients inside were all from a week ago. There was a box of unopened milk, toast, two eggs, and a box of bacon.
There weren't many things, but it was enough to make breakfast.
The kitchen was made of glass, but the soundproofing effect was quite good. He roasted the toast in the toaster, fried the eggs and bacon, and heated up the milk. Suddenly, he thought of something and opened the cabinet at the top, and sure enough, he found a bag of corn cereal that he had bought the last time when Jiang Wangshu came.
She didn't sleep for long before she heard a movement in the room and opened her eyes in a daze. Fu Yian's shadow was long gone from the floor. She rubbed her eyes and looked through the glass door into the kitchen to see a busy figure.
The glass door was pushed open, and Yu An pushed it open with his foot. He carried two plates in his hand, and when she woke up, he told her to brush her teeth and wash her face.
