“I don’t think I’m good enough for this…”

Thinking that it would be a bad move to take on the job, Yō tried to say no without getting into trouble.

However―

“But Nagisa-chan said that he thought Yō-kun would be good at it… Plus, he also mentioned that you have some knowledge in video editing…”

Yō gulped as the unexpected information came out of Marin’s mouth.

Then he felt like letting out a sigh and wanted to look up at the heavens.

(That idiot, is that something you would normally reveal…?)

Content creators who don’t show their faces are trying to avoid giving out information that could lead to their identity being exposed.

In addition, it is good manners not to give out any information about other people, especially if it is about other people that wanted some privacy, and Yō wanted to complain to Nagisa for breaking that rule.

For now, he decided to call Nagisa later and turned to face Marin.

“Well, I do have some knowledge.”

“Really!?”

“But that doesn’t mean I’m going to do it though.”

“―!?”

Marin’s eyes lit up when she heard the first statement, but she became depressed when she heard the second.

To her, Yō continued to open his mouth.

“Do you really want to do this?”

“I want to…”

“…………”

Yō stared at Marin in silence.

Marin looked away for a moment, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but then she began to stare into Yō’s eyes once again.

The two of them unintentionally ended up staring at each other, and as Yō stared at Marin, he was lost in thought.

Then, he slowly opened his mouth.

“What’s the reason that made you so obsessed with this?”

Is it money or honor?

Yō wanted to know why Marin wanted to do the video streaming.

“…………”

However, Marin fell silent and didn’t answer anything.

Maybe it wasn’t that she didn’t want to tell him, but that she couldn’t tell him.

Thinking that, Yō opened his mouth again.

“I want you to let me think about it for one night. Then I’ll give you an answer.”

“You’ll think about it…?”

“Oh, that’s what you want to do, right, Akimi? If so, I’ll think about it.”

“…………”

When Yō said that, Marin stared at his face with feverish eyes.

This caused Yō to quickly look away, embarrassed by the upward gaze of her eyes.

And then he opened his mouth in a blunt manner.

“However, I want you to think about it one more day, Akimi. You might change your mind if you give it some time.”

“Okay, I understand.”

From Marin’s point of view, she thought it would be difficult to even get Yō to listen to her, so she was grateful just to be able to make him think about it.

So all she had to do was to pray for a good response from Yō, and the best way to do that was to listen to what he had to say.

(For the time being, I’ll have to talk to the main culprit…)

The reason why Yō had gotten the day was to ask what Nagisa was thinking when he suggested to Marin to become a streamer.

Yō believes that there is no way that Nagisa would do such a thing for no reason, and until he knows the purpose, he cannot take any action.

After all, he could see that there would be more trouble ahead waiting for him.

“Well then, we don’t have much time left for lunch, so let’s eat quickly.”

“Yes…!”

Once the conversation was settled, Yō and Marin enjoyed their lunch break, eating and chatting about trivial matters.

Translator’s Comments: So we had settled down for a few days now in our new house that we just moved into, so I decided to take on another new project which is also another work of Nekokuro-sensei which is “After Coincidentally Saving the New Transfer Student’s Little Sister, We Gradually Grew Closer”. I’ve decided to re-translate from chapter 32 as I’ve seen people request it due to the quality of the 2nd group that took over the series. I’ll try and catch up with the raws of syosetu of this series within this two weeks time frame when I first posted it yesterday. I hope you guys also give it a read!

Also as for Losing Heroine, the short title for this series, Nekokuro-sensei has not been updating the series on a daily basis lately and I don’t know the reason why. That’s why, this series cooled down a bit in terms of translated chapters that are being released.

Lastly, we’ve reached halfway of my $200 goal on Ko-Fi for the laptop that I’m aiming to buy for! Any amount donated would be very much appreciated as it will help me achieve that goal much closer which will not only help me for personal use (such as studies), but also in translating as there are times that my father uses this computer where I usually work!
