While Yō was having a hard time dealing with his childhood friend and his mother―
“I see, so the plan worked.”
Marin was on the phone talking with Nagisa.
“Can I even say it went well…?”
In response to Nagisa’s joyful voice, Marin, who was feeling bewildered in her heart, made a doubtful sound.
Marin was sitting in a chair, looking up at the ceiling with her feet fluttering.
And although she tried to remember her exchange with Yō, she still felt that she had not been successful.
“Yō-kun said he would think about it properly, right? Then it’s a success.”
“Why do you think so?”
“I was worried that he’d be brusque, but he’s actually a very sweet guy. I was worried that he would just brush it off over, but now that you’ve gotten him to the thinking stage, you’re all set.”
“Are you sure I’ll get a good response from him…?”
“I’m pretty sure he’ll cooperate. I’m sure he already has an idea in his head that if he refuses, he will embarrass Marin-chan and it’ll make her sad. From that point on, Yō Hazakura is a man who can no longer choose to refuse.”
“…………”
Knowing Yō since in his freshman year, Marin wondered if he would ever think like that.
But remembering Yō’s kindness that he showed to her in the past few weeks, Marin decided to believe Nagisa’s words.
“I want to shoot a video that Hazakura-kun can enjoy too…”
Marin wanted to shoot videos with him, but it would be meaningless if Yō felt uncomfortable because of it.
Having fun while shooting videos together and eventually they would become closer with each other.
It was also Marin’s goal to be able to hang out with Yō early in the day by telling him she was going to film.
For that reason, Marin thought that it would be meaningless if she couldn’t make it enjoyable for Yō.
“Oh, there’s that thing too…”
But for some reason, Nagisa sounded reluctant when he heard Marin’s words.
“Is there a problem…?”
Marin, who is very perceptive, heard Nagisa’s voice and knew that there was something lacking in the situation.
To Marin, Nagisa’s voice sounded apologetic.
“You see, it may turn out to be a little different from what you have in mind, Marin-chan.”
“Eh…?”
“Well, to put it bluntly― I think the road to war is inevitable.“
When Nagisa told her that, Marin choked on her words.

Author’s Afterword:
I’ve added a main character list!
Also,
About “I Went Out With a Losing Heroine, But Before I knew It, My Childhood Friend, Who’s Supposed to be The Winning Heroine Thought We Were Dating, Got Angry and Went Into an Argument”,
I’m thinking of putting a remake of this story on Kakuyomu when Kakuyomu Con is held there!
In that case, I hope to be able to write about the digested parts in detail (*´▽*).
