The moment I tried to order him to close his eyes.

But it was Adrian, not Penny, standing at the door.

He entered my bedroom calmly and passed me, who was clearly embarrassed by his appearance.

“I was told not to come to see you, so I remained silent. But, noona, you really didn’t come to see me.”

Adrian, who had been walking, abruptly turned around.

“Did you wear perfume to bed?”

He shut his eyes and sniffed the air.

I stood near the door, staring at him without moving an inch.

“Because the light was on, I thought you might have trouble sleeping too, noona.”

He lifted the book he was holding with a smile.
