92 Story is changing.

” Milady, please have a glass of milk at least. You didn’t even have dinner properly.” Xiaowei was concerned about Yang Ning because she didn’t have dinner properly and must be hungry.

That’s why she brought a glass of warm milk for her so that she could feel full and sleep peacefully at night. She also brought some nuts for her to snack on while drinking the milk.

Yang Ning was sitting at the desk in the chamber and was writing something on the paper when Xiaowei brought a glass of milk for her.

She covered the paper on which she was writing from Xiaowei while she placed the tray on the desk.

“Okay. You go and sleep now. It’s too late for you to stay awake.” Yang Ning said and tried to send her away.

Xiaowei frowned and said, “Milady, how can I go to sleep when you are still awake? You should drink the milk and go to sleep. Otherwise, you will feel sluggish the whole day tomorrow.”

Yang Ning nodded, ” I am also going to bed after I drink this. You should go ahead and take some rest. If I need anything, I will call you. Alright?” She said while pointing at the glass of milk that she brought with her, wanting her to drink it.

Xiaowei reluctantly nodded and left the chamber, leaving Yang Ning alone.

After Xiaowie left the chamber, Yang Ning sighed heavily and uncovered the paper that she was hiding with her hand from her.

It’s been two weeks already since the incident and Yu Ling came to the Yang Household to serve her.

In these two weeks, many things changed which has allowed her to think of so many things and possibilities in life. Yu Ling has been supporting her and has been protecting her from the schemes of Chang Ah and Yang Luoyang.

Thanks to her, she can now enjoy the best time of her life without any stress. She has a large and beautifully decorated chamber, a closet filled with stunning and gorgeous dresses, and a vanity drawer crammed with exquisite and ravishing ornaments and jewels.

When Yu Ling told her that she would not be needed to wear those dresses again, she thought that she was simply making a passing comment. However, she was surprised when the new dresses were delivered to the Yang Household and they all belonged to her.

Yu Ling was not only making a passing comment, instead, but she had also changed everything in her chamber. From her dresses to her accessories to her shoes. They were all new and of a higher quality.

This pampering behavior is unfamiliar to her but she is enjoying the feeling of being treated like a princess. No matter how much Chang Ah hates and wants to throw Yu Ling out of the house, she cannot do anything against her as Yu Ling has the permission scroll given by His Majesty and she cannot dare to go against the Emperor.

In the presence of Yu Ling, Chang Ah is unable to do anything to Yang Ning and has no choice but to agree to all the demands and requests of Yu Ling.

Under the intimidating gaze of Yu Ling, she had to raise the monthly budget of Yang Ning which was 10 times more than her previous budget.

Chang Ah’s heart was crying while giving her this much allowance for her to buy the dresses and ornaments but she had no choice but to pass Yu Ling’s requests as Yang Luoyang has asked her to do whatever Yu Ling wants.

It was a good thing that Yu Ling decided to stay by her side until the royal wedding. Because of her, she is having a good time in her life and wasn’t getting sick all the time, thanks to her special care and pampering.

“Argh! I want coffee.” Yang Ning cried as she put the glass on the table after she finished drinking the white plain milk.

She doesn’t like the taste of white plain milk. Even back home, she used to have chocolate milk, strawberry milk, or just coffee.

” I can’t believe I am drinking plain milk. Dad must be so proud if he sees me drinking white plain milk.” She chuckled bitterly, upon being remembered about her family.

It’s been two weeks since Yu Ling came to the Yang Household however, it’s already been over a month since she came into this world. Yet she failed to find a way to go back to her world.

She tried to take her life to go back but it didn’t work as well. All of her efforts failed and her cowardly self was too scared to take her life with her own hands.

So much time has passed. Things are still hard to adapt to but she is getting used to them.

However, it is still hard to accept the fact that she is in a fictional world and cannot meet her family anymore.

Is this even real? How can it be possible? How can someone enter the fictional world?

” Do they even know that I am stuck in this fictional world? Do they even miss me?” Yang Ning murmured while looking at the family picture that she drew on the paper with her messy-ugly drawing skills using the brush and ink.

She was missing her family but doesn’t have a photo of them with her to look at it and miss them.

She pursed her lips as she tried to hold back her tears and caressed the unrecognizable picture of her family that she drew.

Just like Yang Ning, she has a small family in which she has a father, a mother, and a younger brother. However, thankfully, unlike Yang Ning’s family, they don’t treat her badly or despise her for just being happy.

Back at home, she has a father who loves her and cares for her. Her mother died when she was young.

After her father remarried, she got a stepmother, who is not like Chang Ah at all. Unlike the bitchy stepmother from the fairytales and the fictional world, her stepmother is the nicest woman she has ever met.

Fang Li is close to her stepmother and has accepted her as a part of her family. It was difficult at first to adjust together as a family but when they started living together, she realized how much that woman loves her father which puts her at ease.

Seeing her father happy and being loved is the most satisfying feeling she can ever have. Even though she is not her biological mother, she is still her mother who loves her and cares for her, and has become her closest friend, more than her father.

Fang Li also has a younger brother who isn’t related to her by blood. He came to their house when her father married his mother. It was the second marriage for both of them. However, while living together, she and her brother became each other’s best friends and formed a strong bond just like any other sibling duo.

If she could, she would shower him with all the happiness and love in this world. Because he deserves it all.

He is 20 years old and recently entered university. After the competition, she was planning to visit him at the university since she failed to attend his orientation ceremony because of her training as the competition was up ahead at that time.

He was acting grumpy because of it and was not talking to her properly. He is already 20 years old but he is no less than a child.

‘Tsk. What a cute-looking child.’ She chuckled upon remembering how annoyingly adorable he is.

To stop him from being upset, she wanted to surprise him and give him a thick red card. full of money to make his day. Which college student wouldn’t like a packet of money?

However, who would have expected that things would take an unexpected turn and that competition will probably become the last competition of her life?

‘Is this the end for me?’ She wondered.

“No. Fang Li, stay focused. You cannot lose this battle already.” Yang Ning straightened her back and chanted this aloud to keep herself strong and focused even in this situation.

” Even If I cannot go back now, I still need to stay alive so that I could return to my world one day. To do that, I need to do something about the story and not meet my end as a villainous empress.” She murmured to herself and started to write down on the paper and made a rough chart about her current situation.

The things that were happening at the moment are very different from the story in the novel. Although the story in the novel started one year later from here, she was sure that Zheng Liang and Yang Ning never met before the Birthday Celebration of Zheng Liang.

However, here she met him before the birthday celebration when Xiaowei brought him to the Yang Household along with the Physician.

Not only that, in the story, they never got many chances to meet even after that and got married in less than three months. As said, it was just an arranged marriage in which Yang Ning only suffered from both sides.

Zheng Liang never trusted her, meanwhile, her father used her to get what he wanted and tried to threaten Zheng Liang’s position as the Emperor, putting her in a spot and turning her into a traitor.

Yang Luoyang even tried to kill the female lead which made things even more complicated.

However, things are different now. She and Zheng Liang have met a few times already and seeing the way Zheng Liang treats her, he doesn’t seem to despise her.

She doesn’t follow all the commands of Yang Luoyang blindly either. Considering the few changes in the story, does it mean...that the story can be changed?

Can she change the story if she makes the right decisions? Can she avoid the bloody end of hers?
