T/N: Warning~ Once again, this part of the chapter is a little mature. Nothing too intense happens, but it’s a make-out session that’s a little descriptive.
In the room that was so dark she was unable to even see her five fingers, Yisheng felt like her vision had turned dark suddenly. She could barely recognize the blurry figure. Song Anchen led her into the house with one hand, a hand pressing on the door, he shone brightly in front of Yisheng.
In such a hazy and dark room, his eyes were still as eye-catching as before. She was still able to feel the soul-capturing feeling he was emitting. Yisheng could not help but take a deep breath, calm down!
However, Song Anchen simply placed his other hand on the door at that moment. Her whole body was encased in his arms. The distance between the two of them was very small and she had nowhere to hide.
“Little Brother Song, it’s time to stop joking around,” Yisheng’s heart raced, lowering her eyebrows and saying with no conviction.
Song Anchen did not say anything. He pondered for a long time before he raised one hand, lightly lifting Yisheng’s jaw. In his eyes, there was an urgency, “This whole time, I’ve not joked around once.”
Yisheng looked at him in a daze, suddenly feeling like there was a veil above his eyes, making her want to remove it, but he was stopping her. However, he suddenly took her hand and used her hand to uncover a completely different side of him.
“I’m truly hungry,” Song Anchen’s focused expression had a hint of mischievousness. When Yisheng was still stunned, his two lips had already covered the lips that were slightly open in confusion. That momentum seemed to have come about due to the storm and Yisheng made a surprised sound, but Song Anchen had picked her up in his arms and because she was nervous, her two hands tightly hugged his neck and her two legs clamped onto his waist. She was like a koala hugging the eucalyptus tree to keep her foothold.
Song Anchen brought her to the bed, full of enthusiasm as he smiled and said, “Let me heat up the dishes first.”
(T/N: Dishes as in the dishes you eat with your rice, not like the plates oops. Like rice + vegetables/meat etc.)
“Hm?” Yisheng, who only managed to breathe after much difficulty looked at him, panting. She could not see his expression because the light was shining on his back, but from his tone, she could tell that his expression must be evil. She was thinking about why he talked about heating up the dishes when Song Anchen pressed down on her again.
“Wait…” She did not have the chance to reject him before Song Anchen’s quickly kissed her lips again. He kissed downwards until he reached her neck, biting and sucking, causing Yisheng’s body to tremble slightly.
“Knock knock,” Just when they were kissing, someone suddenly knocked on the door. The two of them stopped and froze. At that moment, Yisheng’s reaction was faster so she pushed him away, awkwardly adjusting her slightly messy clothes and tidying up her hair before she went to open the door.
The little boy stood outside, holding out a bottle of Hua Luo water, “There are a lot of mosquitoes in the summer. Mom asked me to bring the Hua Luo water to older brother and older sister.”
(T/N: Hua Luo water is apparently somewhat like perfume? It’s said to be similar to ‘Florida water’. I’m not entirely sure about the above part, but basically, it’s used to drive away mosquitoes and it also helps with itchiness.)
Yisheng smiled awkwardly, bending down to take the Hua Luo water from his hand, “Thank you.”
The little boy could not help but notice the red mark on her neck and pointed at it to say, “Older sister, quickly apply it. Your neck has been bitten by a mosquito.”
Yisheng was confused as she touched the area his finger was pointing at. She did not find it itchy, but she quickly remembered what Song Anchen had done and her face immediately reddened. She said uneasily, “As expected, it’s hard to defend oneself against this mosquito. Thank you, little brother.”
“You’re welcome,” The little boy glanced into the room, “Has older brother already eaten?”
“Ah?”
“Didn’t older brother say he was hungry just now? Has he finished eating?” The little boy was extremely innocent. He blinked his large watery eyes at Yisheng. Yisheng did not know how to respond and at that moment, Song Anchen suddenly walked over. His arms crossed in front of his chest, he did not blink or frown. Instead, he said very calmly, “I’ve been put off by the smell of the Hua Luo water and no longer want to eat.”
“It’s not like older brother is a mosquito, why would you hate the smell of Hua Luo water?”
Song Anchen did not say anything and instead glanced at Yisheng before turning around to head into the room. Yisheng let out a breath of relief and carefully sent the little boy off, “You should go to bed. Thank you for your Hua Luo water.”
“This bottle of Hua Luo water is very precious. I wouldn’t give it to people randomly,” The boy raised his eyebrows to tell Yisheng to use it carefully. Yisheng smiled in response.
When she closed the door again, the room instantly became silent. Suddenly, her heart felt a little empty. Yisheng’s hand was holding onto the Hua Luo water tightly as she walked to the bed. She realized Song Anchen was already lying down and carefully asked, “Do you want to use a little bit of Hua Luo water?”
“It’s better that you use it on your neck. A very large mosquito bit it,” He turned his body to the side so his back was facing her. She could not hear much emotion in his tone and could only feel that he was a little unhappy.
Yisheng placed the Hua Luo water under her pillow and lay on the quilt, closing her eyes and ignoring his unhappiness. How did she make him annoyed again?
Time passed slowly and the night that held tenderness slowly slipped away. Yisheng finally felt sleepy and just when she was about to fall asleep, she felt like she had a layer of quilt covering her body. A pair of strong hands helped her tuck in the corner of the quilt and she could hear a sigh by her ear before he turned his back to her again and slept in the corner of the bed.
Yisheng was covered tightly by the quilt while her heart was full of anxiety. Song Anchen was a man that she would never be able to understand.
