T/N: There isn’t a name for this chapter because I think it’s been censored or something… Not super sure but I couldn’t find the actual name of the chapter sorry… ;-;. I’m also splitting this chapter into three parts because I have some things to deal with in real life and I need a little while to TL more~. The first two parts will be up this week, and the last part will be up next week!! So sorry about it, but don’t worry, this chapter is longer than usual so each part won’t be very short!!!
Yisheng felt very apologetic. An expensive car like this was scratched after she drove it. Although her senior joked and said that that could be considered her surprise for him before he left, Yisheng still felt very uneasy.
Song Anchen’s expressionless face from that night would often appear in her head. She could not get rid of the memory of his gaze that was staring straight at her. It kept making Yisheng feel like she had truly done something wrong.
But what did she do wrong? It was not like Song Anchen and her had some sort of relationship, what right did he have to control her? Yisheng convinced herself in that manner and decided to just ignore it. However, Song Anchen seemed to be truly angry. In the past, he would occasionally send her a message to ask her how she was doing. Ever since he came back early, not only did he not text her at all, even if they met in the hospital at work, he would directly ignore her and treat her like air. Yisheng felt that he was being petty, but found that she was somehow quite contradictory.
Even though she was the one who did not want to meet him and was slightly against him, now that he was truly ignoring her, she was feeling a little wronged. She wanted to go and explain the situation to him but felt that she was acting like an idiot.
The two of them had a cold war for about ten days. It happened to be the day that her senior was about to go to America to study. Yan Yan had also checked out of the hospital, intending to return to America and continuing his treatment there. Yisheng helped Yan Yan with the hospital discharge procedures and was running around, very busy.
Yan Yan had his hands crossed in front of his chest, earphones stuffed in his ear. He squinted his eyes as he watched Yisheng busy herself with settling things. When Yisheng placed all the forms in Yan Yan’s hands, she said without pausing, “Remember, when you go back, you need to continue your treatment. It is possible to have a relapse.”
“Bah!” Yan Yan spat, “Don’t jinx me.”
Yisheng chuckled, nodding her head to admit her mistake.
“Eh, I’m going back to America already, don’t miss me, lover sister,” Yan Yan looked at Yisheng, seeming to be quite reluctant to part with her. Yisheng paused for a moment, feeling that something was wrong with her newly changed title.
Just when she was pondering over it, Yan Yan’s gaze turned to look at something else. He waved to someone who was behind Yisheng, “Doctor Song.”
Yisheng stiffened.
“What’s the matter? You’re leaving already?” Song Anchen’s voice got nearer and nearer and Yisheng took a deep breath. She glanced at Song Anchen from the corner of her eyes. He was already standing next to her. He was wearing his white coat, a pair of gold-rimmed glasses on his nose bridge and he instantly seemed mature and dependable. There was a stethoscope around his neck and his hands were in his coat pockets. He looked very relaxed and peaceful, which was very different from how he normally was in his clothes.
“Thank you for taking good care of me over the past few months Doctor Song, I’m almost completely well,” Yan Yan even bowed at a ninety-degree angle to Song Anchen, showing his playful attitude. Song Anchen smiled slightly and said, “Pay more attention to your diet and recuperation. Try not to eat fast food.”
“Alright,” Yan Yan shrugged, moving his backpack that was about to fall off. He put it back on his shoulder again and smiled as he said, “Doctor Song if you come to America to play, come look for me.”
Song Anchen maintained his charming smile and Yisheng forced a smile.
Yan Yan leaned such that he was next to Song Anchen’s ear, saying softly, “I know many nightclubs, I promise you’ll be satisfied.”
“That’s right, I’ll definitely take a trip to America before I get married,” Song Anchen seemed to be very calm as if he were talking about something very ordinary. Because Yisheng was standing close to them, she heard their ‘illegal’ conversation and looked at them with despise.
The saying that men all thought with their lower half, was indeed true!
While sending Yan Yan out of the hospital, she managed to see her senior for one last time. When she saw her senior’s smile that was as gentle as usual, she felt a little emotional and sniffed. Yan Heng came over and touched her head as usual, “Little Junior, we’re leaving now.”
“Senior, don’t go to too many night clubs, it’s already tiring enough being a doctor, don’t overexert yourself because you want to enjoy yourself momentarily. This would be worse for your body,” Yisheng suddenly said such strange words, which made Yan Heng unsure about what he should do.
Song Anchen who was standing by the side glanced at Yisheng, his lips curving slightly, suddenly in a good mood.
On the other hand, Yan Yan got in the car as if trying to escape, shouting at Yan Heng through the window, “Older brother, it’s time to go, otherwise, we’ll be late for our flight.”
Yan Heng suddenly took large strides towards Yisheng and did not say anything before kissing Yisheng on her forehead in front of everyone who was sending him off, “If you’re no longer happy, call me and I’ll pick you up.”
Yisheng raised her gaze and looked at Yan Heng and saw that he was serious. She suddenly felt a little flustered and with everyone watching, she blushed. She nodded her head towards Yan Heng, her expression shy. Yan Heng showed a sunny smile and pinched her cheeks, “Little Junior, goodbye,” He turned around and entered the car, leaving as everyone watched.
After the farewell ended, everyone left one after another, only Yisheng was left looking at that car slowly drive away, reluctant to leave. She was so concentrated on it that when Song Anchen walked over to stand behind her, she did not realize.
“If you truly cannot bear it, then you can go with him,” Song Anchen could not bear it anymore and said rudely. Yisheng rolled her eyes, “During the long holiday for National Day, it’ll be quite good to go to America and spend time at the nightclub,” She did not have a good tone either.
The two of them glared at each other, seeing, whose eyes could be larger.
After they glared at each other for an extended period, Song Anchen narrowed his eyes slightly, a casual smile at the corner of his mouth. He opened his mouth to say, “Thank you for your suggestion, I’ll consider it.” After he said that, he turned around and entered the hospital with everyone else.
Yisheng wanted to vomit blood on the spot. Song Anchen was really her nemesis.
