Being able to attend a surgery was a very lucky matter for people with no experience. Zhao Jixiang was off-duty that day. If she knew about this matter, she would definitely be worked up.
However, since she was in charge of these three surgeries, she would need to interact more with Song Anchen, who was the lead surgeon this time. She had to ask him about a lot of matters, like the specific process, the schedule. Wouldn’t she die of embarrassment? But with how Song Anchen was treating her now, it seemed that she was thinking too much. He was truly treating it like it had been a game between adults.
Yisheng had managed to endure till work ended and prepared to go home. She had just changed and left the changing room when she met Song Anchen at the lift lobby, who was waiting for the lift. He was still standing up straight, with a gentle look between his brows. His beautiful face seemed so outstanding.
He seemed to notice Yisheng. He glanced at her casually. There was a ‘ding’, and the elevator had arrived. The two of them went in one after another.
In this space, Yisheng did not even dare to raise her head to look at Song Anchen, who was at one corner. She stared at the lift number, watching as the number decreased.
“When we go on holiday this week, let’s take a trip back to City A.”
“We’re going home?” It was indeed true that she had not gone to visit her father in a long time. However, when she called him, she knew that he was doing well and had opened a restaurant and his business was not bad.
“Mmhm,” He responded mildly.
Although Yisheng found it strange that he suddenly wanted to return home and even asked her to go back with him, it was true that she should go visit her father.
There was another ‘ding’ and the lift doors opened. The two of them walked out one after another. Song Anchen ignored her again and walked straight to the parking lots. Yisheng looked at his back and could not help but scold, “Petty.”
When she walked out of the hospital gate, someone honked his horn from behind Yisheng and then drove to her. The car window rolled down and revealed Song Anchen’s face, “I’ll give you a ride back.”
For some reason, Song Anchen’s sudden niceness made Yisheng feel a little happy. Perhaps she was not used to Song Anchen treating her coldly, or perhaps she was already used to Song Anchen taking care of her.
This time, she sat on the front passenger’s seat. Song Anchen glanced at her and did not say anything before he started the car.
“What date is it today?” Song Anchen stared forward and asked casually.
“The nineteenth.”
Song Anchen put on a thought-provoking smile, “I remember that the last time you were buying sanitary pads was around this time, right?”
Yisheng’s expression changed. Song Anchen held onto the steering wheel and glanced at her occasionally, “Do you want to buy some?”
“There’s no need, I’ll buy it myself,” She said, a little unnaturally.
Song Anchen only smiled and did not say anything. However, his expression seemed cunning. Yisheng was preoccupied with feeling awkward and did not notice his special expression. What she was originally troubled by had been brought up by Song Anchen again. Her period was very regular and would normally follow the thirty-day cycle. By right, it should have arrived on the eighteenth, but it was already nineteenth and had yet to arrive, so she was feeling worried. She kept telling herself that it was only delayed by a day, she could not jump to conclusions.
The car stopped at where Yisheng was staying. However, because Yisheng was feeling troubled, she did not realize that they had already reached their destination. The car had stopped and her head was still lowered. She was calculating to see if the day they slept together was her ovulation date.
Song Anchen was not in a hurry so he leaned against his seat, smiling as he watched her count anxiously.
“What are you calculating?” He laughed softly and asked, the wisdom in his eyes made it seem like he was asking despite knowing the answer.
Yisheng turned her head and looked at him, suddenly realizing that they had already reached her house. She instantly went to open the door and got out of the car, waving at Song Anchen, who was sitting inside the car, “Goodbye, Little Brother Song.”
Song Anchen snorted, “Don’t forget to buy your large band-aid,” He smiled as he turned his steering wheel and drove out of the estate. Yisheng stood on the spot, stunned, touching her stomach. She thought to herself: ‘Please don’t let me down, I like having my period, and I don’t like children.’
As she thought that, she looked at the red paper stuffed in her mailbox. She pulled it out to take a look and turned cold.
“Oriental Women’s Hospital, painless abortion, it’s really painless!”
F̲u̲c̲k̲! Yisheng scrunched up the paper, her face turning red in anger.

Around seven in the morning on Sunday, when Yisheng had no work, Yisheng was still in deep sleep. There was a loud ringing sound from the alarm she set on her quiet phone which caused Yisheng to instantly jump up from bed. She grabbed her phone to look at the time and instantly got off the bed to shower and change.
Yisheng had agreed to meet Song Anchen at eight. There was still half an hour more. She would be able to make it. She slowly tidied up her things and realized that there was still twenty more minutes. She thought that if he left his house at eight and drove over, he would take a while more, so she ate breakfast first.
After she ate, she left her house happily and gave Song Anchen a call. He picked up.
“Little Brother Song, have you left your house?”
“I’m already downstairs.”
“Ah? I’ll head down now,” Yisheng hung up and instantly rushed down. However, she forgot that she was wearing high heels and almost sprained her ankle. After she got downstairs, Song Anchen’s car was parked at a very obvious spot. The engine was off and it was obvious that he had waited for a very long time.
Yisheng got in the car, slightly apologetically, “I’m sorry, I didn’t expect you to be so early.”
Song Anchen glanced at her, seeing the break crumbs left on her face, and could not help but smile, “Did you leave this bit of bread crumbs for me to eat?”
Yisheng saw where he was looking at and rubbed her face, feeling a little embarrassed.
“I’m hungry,” Song Anchen’s lips curved and he started his car, driving out of the neighborhood and heading towards the expressway.
On the way there, it was very quiet. Yisheng was bored and picked up her phone to play a matching game. Song Anchen glanced at her, smiled, and said, “The phone is a really good invention, it has a wide range of uses and benefits others and yourself.”
“It’s alright, it’s indeed quite good.”
“How is your phone’s camera quality?” Song Anchen suddenly asked.
Yisheng scratched her head, “I don’t take photographs normally and my photo gallery is empty.”
Song Anchen’s face was expressionless, “Your phone is indeed very empty, you haven’t even changed your wallpaper from the original one.”
“Eh? How do you know?” Yisheng protected her phone, “You’ve used my phone.”
“Mmhm, the night I was kept awake by you and I could not fall asleep, so I took your phone to play the matching game.”
Yisheng’s lips twitched, he was truly strange. He wasn’t tired after messing around like that and even had the energy to play phone games? Yisheng truly did not know how unique her Little Brother Song was.
When they reached City A, the two of them returned to their own houses. Yisheng had just reached home and called out, “Dad, I’m home,” when her phone rang at that untimely moment. It was Uncle Song’s phone number. She accepted the call and heard Song Anchen say, “Uncle Ye is at my house, come over to my house.”
Yisheng was confused. Why was Song Anchen using Uncle Song’s phone to call her? Unable to think of a reason, she went next door, to Song Anchen’s house.
