Chapter 37: Cloak of Shadows

In the stalagmite forest, the atmosphere was a little awkward.

Roger nodded slightly.

“So, is this a yes?” Koy asked.

“Of course.” Roger said with a smile, “I know nothing about the underground city. It’s good to have a partner.”

“You should be an aboriginal in the underground city?”

Koy nodded and said, “I came from Bande City. In order to fight against the expanding forces of the Gray Dwarves, I have been living around the outskirts of White Moon City all these years.”

“I am very familiar with the surroundings.”

Roger clapped his hands.

“Perfect.”

“Since we have a common goal, let’s set off now!”

“This curse makes me sleepless, and even one more second of having this curse makes me extremely uncomfortable.”

“Please lead the way.”

Koy put away the scimitar, glanced at Roger again, and said relaxedly, “Alright then.”

“What did you say?” Koy didn’t hear it clearly, so she subconsciously leaned closer to Roger.

But Roger’s sword was faster!
