The sound of a car came from outside the door. Shen Tang thought it was He Uncle coming back and hurried out to greet him eagerly.

But she soon happily started picking out clothes with great relish--money is just so nice to have!

She liked all of these dresses so much that she was unable to decide for some.

Tao Sister helped advise on the side, and eventually they settled on a figure-hugging fishtail gown, paired with some jewelry and high heels.

Shen Tang stroked the slender high heels, barely stopping herself from letting the delight spill out of her eyes.

It's just that right now he reeeeally didn't want to see any eggs, whether whole or broken.

"By the way, when will you be discharged?"

"Why do you ask?"

"What about that matter with Miss Zhou you mentioned before? You're hospitalized now, so will it still continue?"

"How many?" Shen Tang asked.

The doctor held up one finger.

Shen Tang forcefully held in her laughter. "Thank you, doctor. Please take good care of him and don't tell him I came. I'm afraid it would embarrass him."

Returning home, Shen Tang asked Tao Sister about what had happened last night.

She was surprised to learn that Gu Jinan had often bullied and framed Gu Huaian when they were young.

"There's even this kind of history!" Shen Tang was furious.

"Yes, the young master has a good temper and usually doesn't hold it against him."

Tao Sister added inside her heart--it was just tit-for-tat covert retaliation.
