Chapter 306: Look Around, Yun Xiao is Everywhere!

"Damn it!"

"You beasts, do you really have no fear of death?"

These mighty beings at the Fate Ocean Realm were thoroughly enraged! With their battle formation destroyed, they were forced into a desperate fight!

The Inscription Cultivators turned their Life Sigils into smaller shields. Any approaching demon died instantly! A single daoist spell, and thousands of demons were pulverized to dust!

These Inscription Cultivators demonstrated the terrifying area-of-effect offensive power of their cultivation system!

"Die!"

Across the dark and tumultuous sea of demons, about ninety orbs of light emerged. Each orb harbored a Fate Ocean Realm powerhouse, a veteran of countless brutal encounters!

So far, it was a one-sided massacre!

However, as each Inscription Cultivator and devil witnessed these vicious demons showing no fear, a shadow of doubt slowly crept over their hearts.

Having just annihilated the Sword Cultivators, they were already exhausted and injured!

"If this keeps up, we might just drop dead from exhaustion..."

This was an unbearable thought for them! To be worn down to death by a bunch of rats, how humiliating was that!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The gruesome fight raged on.

Whenever doubt flickered in the minds of the demons, Moon Fairy would appear just in time, seizing the life of an Inscription Cultivator. A swarm of demons would then descend, tearing and feasting on them, leaving not even a bone behind!

On the edge of hope and despair, the demon army fought desperately for their lives.

With each death on their side, the remaining devils and Inscription Cultivators felt the shadows in their hearts grow darker.

Looking across the battlefield, mountains of demon corpses piled up! Beneath their feet, the filthy blood of the demons had already reached more than a foot deep!

Such a scene had the Inscription Cultivators and devils fighting weakly, already struck with terror.

"What's happening..." Even a figure like the Lion Duke was now in a stupor amidst the demon horde. "Why does that fox only kill Inscription Cultivators and not our kind?" He furrowed his brows deeply.

HUM! Suddenly, the silver-white, Four-Tailed Demon Fox appeared right before his eyes!

Demon and devil, eyes locked in a stare-down.

"I want to collaborate with you," Moon Fairy said, his voice cool as the grave.

"How so?" the Lion Duke inquired.

"I'll let you go, and in return, you give me a way to the Primeval Demon Hell," Moon Fairy proposed.

"You're trying to befriend me?" The Lion Duke's eyebrow arched.nove(l)bi(n.)com

"Be my friend, and you'll have to forsake those Inscription Cultivators," Moon Fairy said with a cold smirk.

"Well, Inscription Cultivators aren't exactly saints," the Lion Duke chuckled.

Hearing this, Moon Fairy laughed. "Alright then, here's to a fruitful collaboration," he declared.

Even a fool could tell that the alliance between demons and Inscription Cultivators was flimsy at best!

Moon Fairy's conversation with the Lion Duke had two purposesfirst, to find a legitimate way to the Primeval Demon Hell; second, because Yun Xiao had promised the War Princess to spare the devils as long as they posed no threat to him, until the War Princess gained enough power to approach ruling the Endless Netherworld and serve Yun Xiao.

These were potential allies; Yun Xiao really didn't need to fight them to the death.

"You can start retreating while fighting," Moon Fairy instructed. He would only order the demons attacking the devils to go easy, focusing on annihilating the Inscription Cultivators.

"Quite generous!" The Lion Duke looked deeply at Moon Fairy, realizing his extraordinary nature.

"Lion Duke," Moon Fairy called out, glancing back at him as he left, "I have no common ground with humans, but no quarrel with your kind. Keep your promise when we head to the Primeval Demon Hell. I despise those who break their word. Don't dig your own graves."

"Don't worry!" The Lion Duke nodded. He was utterly shocked by that one strike that shattered the combined Life Sigil shield.

To these demons of the Demon Continent, these Peak Master and Supreme Adjudicator level Fate Ocean Realm cultivators, were indeed incredibly strong! Over 50 million demons sacrificed their lives, and with Moon Fairy's final blow, they had finally devoured them!

Now, the Inscription Cultivators were all gone!

However, the remaining demons, also bewildered and suffering, dully followed Moon Fairy, not understanding what they had done.

"You..." Gongyang Sheng, drenched in blood, stared deathly at Moon Fairy.

"Meet your end!" Facing this exhausted old man, Moon Fairy, under the watchful eyes of the demon horde, fought a bloody battle with him and ultimately bit off his head!

The demon horde tore Gongyang Sheng apart and devoured him alive!

"This is the fate of those who dare invade our homeland!" Moon Fairy spat out Gongyang Sheng's head, addressing the remnants of the battered demon army.

The demon troops, standing atop a mountain of their comrades' corpses, let out a few cheers, but their voices were somber.

"Emperor..." The Burning Saint approached, trembling, "With such heavy losses, do we still counterattack the Divine Continent?"

Moon Fairy sighed. "The strength of the enemy was beyond my expectations. For now, everyone must rest and recuperate. But worry not, I will first go and behead the human strongholds."

"That's great!" The Burning Saint paused, "With you growing stronger, as long as you are with us, we will one day dominate both continents."

"Ha ha ha..." The Ape Saint suddenly burst into laughter.

"What are you laughing at?" Moon Fairy turned to him, smiling gently.

"Moon Fairy, your aim today was not just to annihilate the Inscription Cultivators but also to end the millennia-old legacy of our demon race!" Ape Saint's eyes turned blood-red, and tears streamed down its face.

"Don't talk nonsense! Those invaders were too strong; we had to make sacrifices to eradicate them, or we'd face endless troubles! How can you blame him so recklessly?" the Burning Saint spoke anxiously.

"The Ape Saint is right. I do intend to wipe out the demon race," Moon Fairy suddenly said.

"Eh." Burning Saint was struck as if by lightning, staring dumbfounded at Moon Fairy.

"Why?" The Ape Saint's heart was breaking, looking at him in agony.

"Why indeed? Aren't we all demons..." the Burning Saint said tremulously.

"I am not a demon; I am Yun Xiao." Moon Fairy fixed his gaze on them, "The demons' desire to destroy me never ceases. I must eventually leave this place, and I can't allow the human descendants to live under the tyranny of the demons forever."

The Ape Saint and Burning Saint widened their eyes, their faces contorted as if struck by lightning.

PUFF! PUFF! Moon Fairy's fox tails shot out, extinguishing the last two great Demon Saints of the demon race.

How could he forget the night when a million souls of the Martial Realm perished, their spirits lost?

"The Demon Continent is the shadow of the Divine Continent. It is destined to disappear; your existence has no meaning."

With these words, Moon Fairy stepped out of this land of shadows.

Outside, the remaining demon troops still revered him as their faith.

In the distance, on a solitary peak, Ling Chen stood in the shadows, his gaze deep as he watched the grand battle between humans, devils, and demons.

The fall of Sword Cultivators, the escape of devils, the annihilation of the Inscription Cultivators, the demise of the demon army... he saw it all.

"Each force's arrival was too coincidental. And that fox, it couldn't possibly be born in such a world..." He frowned deeply. From this vantage point, it almost seemed like someone was orchestrating everything. Killing several birds with one stone? Well, he felt like one of those birds that got hit.

"The Heavenly Land" Ling Chen gripped the nine-colored Sword Soul in his left hand, stabbing it into a violet crystal at his feet!

Even a legendary sword like this was unable to pierce this crystal! How could that be? After being reborn, too many strange things had happened.

As Ling Chen recalled these events, his expression grew more distorted. Suddenly, a chill ran down his spine.

"Who?!" He turned abruptly, only to see a smiling young man in white emerging from the darkness.
