Chapter 32: A secret plan

Quanzhi's heart was half-full with sweetness and half-full with affection.

A scholar dies for a confidant; likewise, a one-sided lover dies of happiness when their feelings are being answered.

The red clouds over her cheeks were proof of how happy she was.

"Shenshah, are you speaking ttt-truth?"

With some nervousness, she completed her sentence.

A little bit of hesitation was expected as I was pushing her in one go.

Shenshah had already answered her feelings, now she knew it was her time to confide in him.

Looking at her scintillating eyes containing so many emotions, I gently held her shoulders.

"Quanzhi, me , you, this moment right here between us is as real as the air we are breathing."

"I am running out of time, I know you still may feel conflicted whether to stay in the sect or to follow me."

Whatever needed to be spoken was already spoken.

Now, it was time to give Quanzhi some time.

Under my puzzled eyes, Quanzhi moved closer to me, putting her soft hands on either side of my left ear; she slowly whispered the secret that was holding her to go with me.

At first, I thought it was not something significant but the more I heard her..the more the minutes kept passing with her sweet voice, the more my pupils kept dilating.

After she spoke everything, the fact that she held Shenshah so intimately just a second ago made her blush even harder.

"This is great!"

"But the thing you are doing is very dangerous."

I would lie if I say I was not worried about hearing her shrewd plan.

"Don't worry, I will do it only when I am fully prepared."

In excitement, Quanzhi made a fist as she tried to reassure me.

"Okay, I have to leave now"

"You already know where I live."

"Since you said it will take 15 days, I will try to prepare everything till then."

Knowing it was time to leave, we both got up.

Her eyes were still full of yearning but she knew she must wait.

To give her a cherishing memory, while she was still absent-mindedly admiring me, I quickly gave her a short peck before going out.

The touch on her lips was a momentarily feeling, by the time Quanzhi realised what had happened, Shenshah had already gone out.

Outside the cave, Shao was eagerly waiting for me.

I don't know if it's my illusion, her eyes looking at me seemed to be a bit weird.
