Chapter 92: The Strange Script

Chapter 92: The Strange Script

The poisonous fangs of Basilisk bit the diary and killed Voldemort instantly and destroyed the Horcrux. A white thin glowing line around the Basilisk suddenly started disappearing and the destruction of the Horcrux caused a small explosion inside Basilisk's mouth making it move crazily in pain.

Harry heard the serpent hissing in pain and tried to get cover under the platform but a large stone from the wall behind him suddenly (strangely) dropped on top of him. Harry passed out from the impact and was somehow his fainted body was safely tucked under the platform.

The serpent king Basilisk also suppressed his pain after some time and then looked around. Two large scratches near his right eye were still dripping blood and now there was some poisonous blood dripping from his mouth too. However, it was not attacking or killing anyone but hissing toward the Phoenix.

Fawkes flew in the air around the Basilisk, and both started a strange conversation of hissing and chirping. After some sort of argument or discussion, it disappeared inside a small fireball leaving the serpent king alone in the secret chambers.

"Fuck! What the fuck?" Neville who just saw this scene hiding inside the invisible cloak felt stupid. This was not the part of the script.

The great Harry Potter had already saved the day by killing Voldemort but where is the Old Headmaster? Where is Dumbledore? Should he not come here and take harry away killing this Basilisk?

How come that fucking fire chicken leaves without killing this fucking snake or rescuing the kids here?

Neville who was hiding behind another statue carefully felt his brain freezing. So many questions were staring Neville in his face and then he saw the serpent king coiling around on top of his statue.

It was staring dead into his eyes. Neville had no chance to avoid or close his eyes and he felt the one huge light-yellow eyeball was watching him closely.

However, Neville realised he was safe and still alive inside the invisible cloak, but he could see the face of Basilisk. He was not even petrified while he was having the staring constant with such a huge powerful and deadly beast.

"That was close!" Neville just had this thought when he saw Basilisk opening his mouth and then roaring in front of his cloak. The source of this content nov(el)bi((n))

Neville felt terrified and moved a few steps back.

"Armour!" He shouted and the floating Grimoire released a glowing shield around him giving him some sort of confidence.

Let the great Harry Potter do his thing. Neville had enough fame in the first year. Besides, he still has a mouse trapped inside his manor. A trapped, hungry and locked up prisoner in a dark and empty space.

In Snape's classroom, Professor snape was writing some notes on his recent experiment on potions when he felt the death mark tingling.

Snape immediately pulled his sleeve to find the dark had faded a lot. In the last two years, this had happened thrice. Some tingling, some sensation and then the death mark will fade.

"Something happened..... Harry!" Snape was just thinking before he realised Harry Potter might be in some danger.

"Dumbledore..." Professor Snape ran for headmaster and just knocked his doors before the doors opened itself.

"Aaah Severus! Anything urgent. You don't look ready for tonight's party?" Headmaster Dumbledore dressed in rare regal clothes and proper attire asked the huffing and puffing professor.

"Where is Harry?" Professor Severus could only ask this when Dumbledore found his Phoenix returning suddenly.

"Fawkes, where did you run away my old friend?" Headmaster Dumbledore scratched his Phoenix neck while sending a big magical detection wave around the whole Hogwarts.

Closing his eyes and watching the scene like SONAR feedback, he noticed a strange and deadly anomaly.

"Second Flood, Girl's washroom. So, that's where you are..." Dumbledore opened his eyes and realised he finally found the clue to the legendary chamber of secrets.

"Let's go Severus. Let's check out what the founding wizard of your house left behind for us." Headmaster Dumbledore simply said and then he walked in a speed that didn't match his age.

While walking, he sent his Patronus Phoenix to call other professors and bring them to the second floor. In a short time, other professors who were getting ready or were already dressed for the party hurried to that place.

Everyone knew headmaster would only use his Patronus in emergency cases only.
