The wind of change arrived with that letter.

I couldn't react to the huge shock conveyed by the words.

The letter was decorated with many flowery words, but ultimately they all meant one thing.

'The abolition of polygamy.'

It was a royal decree.

Soon, I gathered my wives and showed them the letter.

Contrary to my expectation that they would be pleased with the news, my both wives belonging to two different species became stiff and silent.

Well, now that I think about it, it was difficult for us to get along mostly because of the differences in our cultures.

Feeling uncomfortable due to the awkward silence, I spoke:
