C1 – Overlord’s Space Awakened
In the Whispering Land, every individual reaching the age of eighteen experiences an awakening. This awakening reveals a mysterious realm known as the Overlord Space. For ordinary people, awakening their Overlord Space is the only way to alter their destiny. Should they fail, they are forever denied overlord rights, condemned to labor under the yoke of capitalists.
Each person has but a single opportunity for this transformation. It is the Overlord’s era.
At the Awakening Square, Qiang Nantie stood amidst the throng, his gaze fixed on the enigmatic Awakening Altar at the plaza’s forefront. His excitement was palpable, his eyes alight with the promise of awakening.
Qiang was a soul from another world. In his previous life, a plane crash had catapulted him into the Whispering Land. Here, amidst the trappings of a modern urban landscape akin to Earth, existed the extraordinary power of the Overlord Space—shrouded in mystery and brimming with spiritual energy.
The Awakened, those who have harnessed their Overlord Space, can obtain mystical items and even ascend to immortality through the cultivation of their realm. In this place, they can achieve eternal life. Yet, the Overlord Space is fraught with peril. Monsters, reflective of an Overlord’s caliber, may emerge at any moment to lay siege to their territory. Should the Overlords falter, their carefully constructed domains face ruin.
The devastation of their territories can drive many Overlords to despair, some even to the point of suicide, unable to withstand the loss.
A flash of white light swept across the square, drawing envious stares from the onlookers as a student successfully awakened their Overlord Space. Despite it being a low-level white normal Overlord Space, the achievement sparked jealousy among those yet to awaken.
The Overlord Space is categorized into five tiers: white normal, yellow rare, purple epic, orange legend, and golden divine level. The majority awaken to a white normal space. The rarer and more superior the Overlord Space, the more formidable the challenges within. Defeating the monsters and establishing a territory is no mean feat.
“Qiang Nantie from Senior Class 38!”
“Present!”
Atop the Awakening Altar, the teacher overseeing the ceremony called out Qiang Nantie’s name. He promptly rose to his feet.
Qiang Nantie had been waiting eighteen years for this moment. With unwavering resolve, he strode toward the altar.
“Step into the center of the altar, close your eyes, and earnestly search within,” instructed the teacher presiding over the awakening.
Qiang Nantie took his place upon the altar.
Then, the teacher’s white magic staff radiated a holy light, a sign of Awakening Magic that only those of Five-star rank and above could wield.
The luminescence from the altar suffused Qiang Nantie’s being.
In that instant, he felt transported to a void, a realm of endless points of light in varying hues, predominantly white.
“These specks are the Overlord Spaces. They’re magnificent,” he thought.
Qiang Nantie had to quickly attune his soul to these Overlord Spaces to claim one as his own.
Above him, a beam of white light materialized.
“White,” Qiang Nantie observed the light above him with a tinge of disappointment. Yet, he quickly rallied his spirits.
Succeeding at all was preferable to not awakening. Even though he had only secured a white normal Overlord Space, with diligent effort, he was bound to achieve greatness.
As Qiang Nantie pondered his future, the unforeseen occurred.
A burst of colorful light erupted beneath him, catching him off guard.
Qiang Nantie glanced at his territory talent, his surprise evident.
Special items were exceedingly rare, possessing immense power and fetching steep prices. Some were so rare that not even spirit coins could purchase them.
Spirit coins were the universal currency in this world, generated within the Overlord Space and earned by Overlords slaying monsters within their domain.
A mere 1% increase in the likelihood of special items appearing was a small edge, but to Qiang Nantie, it was a cause for contentment.
He eagerly reviewed his detailed attributes.

“The white Overlord Space is quite common. But what about this Rainbow Lord Space?”
He attempted to access the vibrant Overlord Space within his mind.
Yet, he found it remained elusive, resisting his efforts to unlock it.
To his surprise, his Rainbow Lord Space turned out to be a support-type Overlord Space.
It was only after stepping into the Overlord Space that he could inspect the nuances of the Rainbow Lord Space.
